I just watched this video and Michelle does such a brilliant job of breaking down many of the harms of generative AI and why we should care about it! I'm gonna use this video next time someone doesn't believe me when I tell them these things - with plenty of cited sources, they can't ignore it

I worry that some of you all think "the problem is with big corporations not individuals" is an argument to stop making personal changes for the better, rather than an argument to organise and take action against corporate harms IN ADDITION TO making personal changes.

I find it hard to talk about genAI. There are so many complex problems, it's difficult to know where to begin and how to explain them. So I set myself a challenge: choose 5 key issues with genAI and talk about them clearly in less than 30 minutes. Here's what I made. I hope you find it useful!
