As a fan who hasn’t lived in the NY area since childhood, John Sterling helped keep me connected to the Yankees when I listened to games via satellite radio. What a legend!! Thank you for your passion for our team. RIP John Sterling

Go Blue!

#NoKings by Lake Michigan #Evanston

Not grateful for a lot these days- but I am grateful the Olympics have included half pipe the last several times. So so fun to watch! 🏂

Loving the Teddy Swims ‘tailgate concert’ right now ahead of the big game!

@kenjennings.bsky.social Just caught up with the episode featuring XTC reference categories. Can’t tell you how much I loved that! 😁

Jim Cornelison is the best, hands down! #GOBEARS

Da Bears!!! 🐻 😀😄😁😆

@cnn.com Knowledgeable protestors are sadly well-acquainted with Bovino and his tactics, attitude and taunting from other cities. He enjoys all of this and makes no secret of that.

@cnn.com If you paid attention to what happened w/ICE in Chicago, it’s not surprising DHS issues an immediate statement re Minn incident. Here, in many many cases, those statements later turned out to be wildly misleading and inaccurate.

Hearing helicopters in SE #Evanston or maybe #RogersPark. Wasn’t sure at first but hearing consistently for last 20 min or so.

@durbin.senate.gov DO NOT CAVE Nothing they say can be trusted @duckworth.senate.gov THANK YOU for standing strong!!

So Fox Sports is ‘interviewing’ Dear Leader during third quarter. 🤮Guess that’s when I’ll turn the TV off and take my dog for a walk.

Hearing helicopters over south #Evanston, maybe #Rogers Park, around noon or so. (Couldn’t see directly due to trees.)

Thank you maddow.msnbc.com for the amazing coverage about Evanston!!

@maddow.msnbc.com @chrislhayes.bsky.social Pls get some coverage of what’s happening today in Evanston IL! Massive ICE invasion, esp at and around schools on Halloween.

Helicopters right over South Evanston just west of Chicago Ave, maybe over Ridge, maybe right by the school there. Fuck these monsters

Evanston IL showed up- was a great event! #nokings

As someone whose career is all about collecting and interpreting ACCURATE data for my clients, even when it’s bad news, this makes my blood boil. You don’t get to change the data because you don’t like it -especially when your moronic actions caused the negative results. Happy 1984 everyone! 🤬😤😡

Start your morning with two minutes of the testimony of Samuel Garcia, an average American who drove 3 hours to speak truth to power to the Texas legislature. Let’s decide that we are all Samuel Garcia. Get in their faces and make them listen. Mr. Garcia is a great American.

No matter how rough the week has been, it’s important to find a way to rest and relax a bit…as demonstrated by Archie

@93xrtchicago.bsky.social I can’t believe I just heard the bs Kristi Noem/Trump/HHS ad on my beloved XRT as I start my day. Really hope I don’t hear that again- channel will be changed immediately.

If like me, musical breaks are critical for you to keep going in this hellscape… have added Lady Gaga’s new album Mayhem to my list. High energy fun…very needed! Love it!

Great turnout today for #Teslatakedown in Chicago!

Trump and Vance are disgraces #Slava Ukraini

A really important email from my friend Senator @chrismurphyct.bsky.social . As he says "this is a 5 alarm fire." America is under attack right now.

I sobbed for my country on Nov 6. Tonight, I'm sobbing again. So many reasons, but this FBI Purge - I have no words. And people I'm close to voted for this, which is just about killing me. However flawed the US is, it feels like everything I was taught we at least strived for is being dismantled.

Any US Senator who votes for Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr. or Kash Patel are betraying their oath of office to serve their constituents and uphold the Constitution.

Suggestions to help animals in LA: Best Friends' LA site is taking in animals & helping shelters bestfriends.org, Pasadena Humane has helped 100s of animals pasadenahumane.org, miraclesagrelief.org will focus on bigger creatures (They are new but worth support - know them personally.) Thank you!

Need a good cause for EOY donation? Seeking humanity for the new year? Consider donating to Miracles Ag Relief. I know personally they are hands-on helping families and animals in the SE (esp Western N Car) devastated by hurricanes who may not be reached by other assistance.. miraclesagrelief.org

Hozier doing Fairytale of New York on #SNL- such an unexpected treat!
