I just got in the car to the start of Breathe Me by Sia on @wxpnfm.bsky.social but missed the intro & have to know if they played it b/c it was a #1 vote… b/c it was mine & I cried the most delicious tears listening to it behind the wheel imagining Claire in Six Feet Under drive away #XPNCountdown

Just voted for @wxpnfm.bsky.social's 885 Greatest Songs from Movie & TV countdown and as is tradition *immediately* thought of a song that should have been on my ballot the moment after I hit submit. #XPNCountdown

Abdur Rahman knows what’s up! Let’s get Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” in the top 10 two countdowns in a row! #XPNCountdown @wxpnfm.bsky.social

What a great day to announce this… 9/25… so clearly we all have gotten the message and are going to vote Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 #1 right?!?! Also let’s get Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You in the top 10 twice in a row shall we?! #XPNCountdown #DollyParton #WhitneyHouston #Movies #TV

Anybody else hear Ariana Grande on @wxpnfm.bsky.social and immediately fear she had died?! Just me? Thanks @kristenkurtis.bsky.social for letting us know it was a request and congrats Jackson! We will be cheering for you cheering for the Eagles!

Both Workman’s Song #1 by the Flying V’s and Let the Light In by Rhyhun are so so so good!!! Please put them in the rotation! I can’t wait to hear them again! @wxpnfm.bsky.social @kristenkurtis.bsky.social

Two days ago a sitting US Senator was pepper sprayed for protesting ICE and it didn’t even become national news.

Thank you for playing Cowboy Mouth!!! @kristenkurtis.bsky.social

Very rich people getting booed during commencement speeches is my new favorite genre of entertainment.

@kristenkurtis.bsky.social playing No Doubt into Garbage into Green Day has 10 year old me feeling so hard core… no more Disney soundtracks mom! I’m into alternative now 🤣 #wxpn #90sat9

Please help my daughter's #GirlScout troop win tickets to Medieval Times by voting! Thank you for your #Kindness !

"I'm never leaving this radio station" You made it sound like a threat but I hope that's a promise @djrobertdrake.bsky.social #XPNTNB

@djrobertdrake.bsky.social l just played a local children's choir singing Someday at Christmas on @wxpnfm.bsky.social y.social #TheNightBefore and I am not crying! YOU ARE CRYING!

It all started in 1955 with a misprint in a Colorado newspaper and a call to Col. Harry Shoup's secret military hotline. Shoup played along with the tiny voice who called, and a tradition was born. From the NPR archives.

"It's decreed - the people rule!" Patti Smith talking about the #XPNcountdown

Oh yes! I am enjoying this Cat Power of These Days. I do like the wistful ones... #XPNcountdown

Got to have the Talking Heads represented on the one-vote wonders since they were so poorly represented on the countdown ;-) That said I am really enjoying this cover! #XPNcountdown

My theory about this Bonnie Raitt song is that people generally voted for only one song from an artist on their ballot and everybody voted for Angel From Montgomery! #XPNcountdown

This one-vote-wonder extended mixtape has me reaction one of two ways: 1) Wow! What a cool song I have never heard before! 2) How did this only get one vote?!?!

First I was crying because Whitney & Aretha were robbed, then I was crying at Bonnie Raitt, Sinead, & Jeff Buckley’s performances… then I was sobbing at Hurt… and now Jimi is rocking out and I am crying because it’s all over 😭😭😭 happy tears my friend, this countdown was my favorite yet #XPNcountdown

Johnny Cash’s Hurt inspired me to pick up a guitar and learned to play it when I first heard it back in… 2010? What a beautiful and emotional song #XPNcountdown

Listen to Dan! Donate to XPN! It’s easy! #XPNcountdown

So Hurt… what’s the other song?!?! (Thunder Road clearly) #XPNcountdown

We didn’t get Aretha’s Amazing Grace did we? I can look it up but that’s less fun #XPNcountdown

And my number 3 hits at number 4… fair. Miss you Sinead! #XPNcountdown

lol I thought only the RUN-DMC voters would neglect the rules but didn’t think the John Prine/Bonnie Raitt fans would but am thankful they did #XPNcountdown

I am so sorry Aretha for the DISREPECT from the XPN community! Hello police? I would like to report a robbery! #True1 #XPNcountdown

I had totally forgotten about Joe Cocker’s With A Little Help From My Friends but it deserves to be in the top 10 #XPNcountdown

What I have learned from this countdown is that the XPN community really loves the Talking Heads #XPNcountdown

Ok I know it’s crazy to say a top 10 song hit too low but Whitney just did #XPNcountdown

You know everyone is getting online for the top 20 when my posts go from getting 5 or 6 reacts to double digits! Hi everybody! Are you as excited as I am?!?! #XPNcountdown

Knew Cake didn't need my vote but happy to hear that they survived without me! #XPNcountdown

My beautiful #6 vote just hit at #20... makes me cry every time... thank you Gary Jules for your heartfelt cover of Mad World (and thanks XPN listeners for introducing me to Adam Lambert's earlier in the countdown!) #XPNcountdown

I love The Band's Atlantic City so so much 😭😭😭 and it was another I realized I left off just after I hit submit but am so glad you all had my back! #XPNCountdown

Being a Jersey Girl I appreciate this song... Bruce you tried to repeat your Thunder Road victory but were just short... unless you have another in the tank! #XPNcountdown

Score another one for the Blow soundtrack! #BlindedByTheLight #XPNcountdown

Don't at me but I didn't realize this was a Dylan cover 🫣 #MakeYouFeelMyLove #XPNcountdown

Ok props to everyone who put this Disturbed cover of Sound of Silence on their lists. I was skeptical when I read them having not heard it before (and having heard *other* Disturbed songs...) but it is *epic*. Well done! #XPNcountdown

Wild Horses couldn't drag me away from the #XPNcountdown right now... only 30 more folks!!!
