Introduction update! Hi! I'm Patricia Barton AKA Mehgazone, a trans webcomic artist of over a decade! I draw the action/comedy webtoon "A Kat's (GOD AWFUL!!!) Blessing" and the trans in hindsight nsfw webcomic "Bodysuit 23!" You can check both of them and my written works over at mehgazone.com

Seeing this gives me hope that maybe one day even my stuff could get published. ...If I, like, ever actually get around to making a book and not webcomics.

Fuck it. I sent 'em a message saying hi and thanks for the follow.

Gene knocked down and broke another poster frame. Ordered two for it and the frame he broke earlier in the year from Ikea. $73ish. Siiiigh.

I'm in one of my laying in bed listening to "Youkoso! Hittori Bocchi" on loop moods.

Finally watched Over the Garden Wall. I really liked it! Didn't realize it took place in like the 1980s or something!

Woo!

I've felt like shit today after suffering to get Kat out the door, but just read an email about how much Bodysuit 23 has impacted them means a lot to me and reminds me how at the end of the day the turmoil is worth it.

Yes. Yes we did.

Was planning to see Wildwood after work today but this week's Kat is kicking my ass and I can't imagine having it done before I get off work. Especially if this one job comes back approved and I have to set up 200ish labels for the printer.

Got an email from PayPal saying Webtoons paid out ad revenue for Kat with the next immediate email being from PayPal saying Nintendo charged for a 12 month online subscription.

Nice argument, but I have drawn myself as the smug Naga the White Serpent and you as the frazzled and angrily befuddled Lina Inverse.

I've bought Ys VIII three times already and I hate game key cards so bleeeeEEEEeeeehhhh. ...But that keychain though.

Man...

Tokyo Indies had the good shit tonight

Yes.

There wasn't much of a line but nearly every booth was occupied on a Wednesday. Fucking crazy.

Earwig and the Witch. Easy answer.

G-gao...

Finally had my monthly therapy session after having to push back multiple times this month. Got talking about burnout and mental exhaustion caused by comic work and day job and needing to figure ways to rest more. Also talked about the new street fighter movie and the definition of "anime."

Wound up writing a lengthy email thanking him for his works and the impact it had on my life. Doubt he'll see it but hopefully it'll reach him in spirit.

Man. This fucking sucks.

Great weather to read manga outdoors.

Kinda flubbed this week's comic since I realized I fucked up on the placement of stuff and when trying to course corrected screwed up this running towards camera effect I was shooting for, but shit has to ship so I just did what I could and wrapped it up. I think this panel turned out alright though
