In December of 2024 I realized that I wasn't alone in my own mind... I've spoke about this before... about being a system... and while the brief period after that I our system was thriving we did need to address the root issues of our trauma that created our system... so we got a therapist

You know I'm just going to say it Ee're a little over 6 years out from the 50th anniversary of E.T.'s release... Make a collector's edition of the game with like the game, the history of it, stuff about the video game crash of the 80s, the urban legends about the landfill of discarded copies...

Go all in on re-releasing the game on the 50th anniversary It's a part of gaming history, Preserve that!

We just got our Official DID diagnosis today! It's been a wild road to this point filled with abusive therapists and doctors in charge of meds doubting us when we talk about how the meds impact our own system....

25 Aug

Now that we have this diagnosis we'll have credibility when we discuss our own body and mind with our own doctors Also worth noting that the doctor reaffirmed our ADHD and Autism diagnosis from when we were growing as well...

25 Aug

Just a great feeling and a weight off our back as we finally have what we need to be taken seriously by our own doctors... Just an incredibly affirming day...

Dear Paramount: RELEASE THE NEW AVATAR AANG MOVIE ON BLU RAY YOU COWARDS! Bad enough you deprive us of a theatrical release but now you rob us collectors of a physical version in an age where preservation of media means more than ever!

4 Aug

don't even get me started on my qualms with the quality of the official Blu Ray release of Avatar The Last Airbender There's an issue with one of the best episodes of the whole series that stands out like a sore thumb to someone like me but to most folks would probably go unnoticed...

4 Aug

Paramount has no respect for the physical media of this IP or the fans who want it...

The topic of StarFox (2026) updates/DLC have been tossed around and honestly that makes me nervous for such a game focused on high score chasing... like if they update a game like this they need to do it right... So here's my thoughts/wishes

Finally for DLC Wishes: 5th Pilot That empty space in the formation has been bothering me... PLEASE FILL IT WITH AN OPTIONAL WING MAN YOU CAN TOGLE ON OR OFF SO IT STOPS BOTHERING ME!

Final note: add end credits to easy mode once you're done with all the expert mode medals.... I get you want people to get the real ending on the first playthrough but also kinda miss not having credits roll on Venom 1 runs and makes it feel not worth it...

Third: High Scores.... PLEASE! Not just the top single Score but the top 10 scores.... I want a ranking chart so even if I don't beat our top spot I can still feel accomplished... or even look at detailed records of out 10 best games...

Fourth: No brainer but expanded multiplayer It's fun but lacking... Only three maps chosen at random... Fifth: Customize controls in game Especially the left stick press! I've had to manually reassign it to cockpit switch via system settings each time!

Second: I know this is incredibly unorthodox and probably impossible but: If possible maybe allow a setting for people to roll back the game engine to previous versions if you end up changing game mechanics/layouts in updates

I don't know why but I feel like this one feature alone will create a massive amount of player replay ability when it comes to high score chasing if one version has one advantage over the other or "feels just right" to some players but not others... Call it intuition but feels like the perfect move

First this is what I think is a MUST for updating such a high score focused game: HAVE THE RESULTS SCREEN SHOW SOMEWHERE IN FINE PRINT WHAT VERSION NUMBER THE GAME IS ON IF GAME MECHANICS/LAYOUT ARE EVER TAMPERED WITH!

Updating the game risks changing how scores are achieved and I think for the sake of transparency people should have the version of the game they're playing be well documented when sharing screenshots of their scores so including the version number as fine print goes a long way

A man who publicly was doing something which, when done wrong, can cause graft-vs-host disease, an autoimmune disease which can attack, among other things, your GI tract, now has an autoimmune disease which is attacking his GI tract. What a coincidence.

People keep asking why did they Remake SF64 instead of giving us a new game? Well to see if this company is right for the new game of course! Time for a history lesson!

If Nintendo (a series Miyamoto seems to have a soft spot for and is more protective of than others) wants Star Fox to succeed then they need to give it to a new company that can give it their full, undivided, attention

sorry I meant to add the blurb about Miyamoto having a soft spot for Star Fox after the mention of Star Fox, not Nintendo 😅

They needed this new company to prove they can be trusted with the Star Fox IP before they can then be allowed to make something new the good news is: They have a lot of assets already and the engine to work with so it won't be like starting from square one for the next game

It is no question now that a week has passed and seeing some of the reception that this game has been a big hit (I personally see it as a replacement for 64) I am personally excited for the future of Star Fox now that there actually seems to be one!

Which brings us back to Star Fox As much as I love Star Fox Zero it is an understatement when I say it was controversial. It flopped hard. Nintendo needed to find someone new and needed them to prove they could handle the IP with a tried and true formula

"But they already remade 64" yes and the company that did that was also Grezzo and they've been busy with Zelda

With Grezzo they have had them make a few games but the big remake I am thinking of is Links Awakening. This was basically the foundation for their next big Zelda Game: Echoes of Wisdom. They proved they could do a Remake of LA so they got the green light for something new

Then we move on to Mercury Steam and Samus Returns for the 3DS This was once again Nintendo handing them a remake to see if they had what it takes to make a new entry into their series. Samus Returns was seen as a critical success and therefore we got the long awaited Metroid Dread

Nintendo is a bit defensive of their IP. If they put one of their IP in the hands of a 3rd party they want that 3rd party to prove they can do a good job. They have done this before with the companies of Grezzo and Mercury Steam

Looking back it should have been obvious... we always seemed to be unearthing new trauma RIGHT AFTER our appointments... not during them... as if our therapist was the cause Most appointments she didn't do much of anything for us... she didn't know how to help us, she didn't try to get us talking

Really frustrating to have wasted time on this but at least we can share our experiences and our biggest take away! While therapy is important: A Bad therapist can do far more damage than not going to therapy at all! Do your research and don't ignore red flags! #mentalhealth #therapy #system

I cannot stress enough that if you have a good therapist they will work wonders for you! I urge everyone to get a good therapist... the keyword being "GOOD"! A BAD THERAPIST CAN RUIN YOU!

If your therapist does not provide you with a safe place free of judgment but instead you feel like your thoughts and identity are being critiqued with countless micro-aggressions don't do what we did and think "maybe I'm overacting": LEAVE!!!

Our therapist was not a specialist in Dissociative conditions... that should have been a red flag for us. You might have noticed over the past 18 months our online presence has become non-existent and that is because our mental health tanked....

We thought it was because of being a system, or getting used to each other, or some of the social stigma we faced, or some of the various stressors in our life while some of those contributed we have since come to realize the worst offender to our mental health: Our Therapist

idk how many times it needs to be said but: THE FIGHT OF AANG VS OZAI WAS NEVER ABOUT AANG VS OZAI BUT ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THE FIRE NATION SUCCEED IN THE AIR NOMAD GENOCIDE!

The Lion Turtle showed up BECAUSE Aang not only needed that solution but because the Lion Turtle could tell he wanted it. Aang wanted to "think like a mad genius" just like Bumi told him to back in book 1 and so he gave him the solution he needed because the Lion Turtle could tell how much

Aang longed to spare the Fire Lord's life despite all signs saying he shouldn't The Lion Turtle Chose the Avatar just like he did all those millennia ago

idk how many times it needs to be said but: THE FIGHT OF AANG VS OZAI WAS NEVER ABOUT AANG VS OZAI BUT ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THE FIRE NATION SUCCEED IN THE AIR NOMAD GENOCIDE!

Aang is the Last Airbender and pacifism is a core aspect of Air Nomad culture so killing the fire lord would have marked the final part of the Air Nomad Genocide

Yes Aang could have Tenzin later on but would he really be able to teach pacifism knowing in his heart how much of a hypocrite that would make him? Killing Ozai means Ozai and Sozin succeeded in the Air Nomad Genocide

I'm so excited for the new Starfox game! Finally we get to play through the Lylat Wars! After so many Starfox games we get to experience this conflict never before touched upon! (unless you count Starfox (Snes), Starfox 2, Starfox 64, Starfox 64 3D, or Starfox Zero)

10 June

I'm loving the Demo of Starfox but the one thing I need to see now that I have seen these cutscenes and the characterization of the crew: If you beat the game via Venom 1 and not Venom 2 then I think that the game's bad ending should have the Starfox crew disband... It feels right for a bad ending
