I still look very pregnant, like 7 months From what I understand since my bowels were floating around everything needs to sort of get put back where they belong which takes time It wouldn’t surprise me if I have another one of these scheduled next week. Water from my feet could navigate up there?

Just had 4 liters of fluid removed from my abdomen. That procedure was one of the more efficient things I’ve had done. It was easy until it wasn’t. Had to pause around 3 liters because I started sweating. But was able to restart and get that last bit. I thought there was more in there TBH

So Microsoft isn’t firing 60,000 people, they’re offering early buyouts, with full severance. There’s a big difference. They’re optional is a big one. You don’t have to take the deal. They also don’t expect to lose 60,000. More like 3,000.

I’ve said this before, MUSC 103 was one of the best classes I ever took. Music for non-majors The prof looked like Santa Claus (a big bonus to the fun factor), we learned how to write music using basic theory, he would pick random students songs and play them Oh, you also had to sing the notes.

I get it, an intro-level theory theory class for non-majors is not anyone's highest priority. But dammit my projects are fun, rewarding and lead to growth and transformation.

And yes, I’ve forgotten it all. It was 30+ years ago. But it was fun. Unlike that Systems Engineering class where 90% of the class failed the first of two exams

So she's trying to figure that out. Formal end of life shit is...something i won't be able to avoid forever. I probably need to create a bitchin soundtrack to play. I also need to create messages to my kids on the milestones I'm going to miss.

On Friday I get scans and on the following Tuesday I have an appointment in Philly to get more trial drugs I want to stay on the drugs, obviously. Hopefully the scans show an impact in the liver and we are able to keep going

If I'm not able to stay on the trial drugs, I expect to enter formal end of life planning. My wife has been thinking about this a lot, and is trying to figure out who would actually show up. Because we have small families. it's not like 200 people are going to show up because of them, it's like 12.

I’m on water pills to try to manage this and at least stay stable. And water pillls really do make you pee. However, I’m not peeing enough to go backwards into month 7 of pregnancy.

So because of that I’ve asked to get the ascites tapped, which is a process to drain them. I’m planning on doing this here at Ohio State, but I need to get it scheduled. They’re working on it but I won’t hear anything until Monday. I’m hoping we can schedule something early in the week.

I’m in a weird spot right now. I feel like the trial drugs are working, however my liver is not. I’ve gained 10 pounds since my visit to Philly a week and a half ago. I look like I’m in the 8th month of pregnancy. I have ascites that exist because the liver cannot do its job effectively.

What do I mean by power Democrats? One dude was a state rep Another one was a lobbyist State Rep quit when Dems lost power with Strickland going down so he did a 3 year MBA program at Harvard and is now in Industry But he still has David Pepper’s number in his phone
