Are you guys aware another person accused Donald Trump of rape

Je Suis Cheesecake Factory. by Bret Stephens

The NYT devoting two pieces to the Cheesecake Factory "controversy" and none to the latest rape allegations against POTUS is a good reminder that there is no attack against Obama bad faith enough that the press doesn't amplify it, while with Trump when the charges are horrendous, caution abounds.

Just read about someone at comcast being laid off after 35 years. Insane. What do you even do at that point?

while you were partying, i studied the ass

In their perfect world, Donald Trump will continue raping girls and young women and republicans across the board will make sure the victims have to birth those babies. This is their vision for America above all else.

Alito and Thomas gonna retire to turn out the GOP voters, and even if GOP loses the senate, they’ll rush two people through during the lame duck.

Man what is even the point of being alive if you can’t even do this

Dude for real why are they doing this? It doesn’t even look good!

Still covering Elon Musk as a business mogul and not foregrounding his murderous white nationalist politics is like doing a piece on only the clown career of John Wayne Gacy.

Ok fuck Alstott apparently but BRING BACK THE FULLBACK!!!!!!

Back in better times

Tangential but it totally feels like the mom in this story has to be one of the “my kid randomly cut me off idk why” kind of parents we’ve been hearing about lately

Not be a middle aged dad but Honda Fit is my dream car

I would have intercepted that

The positive vibes guy at the end of this is like 90% of voters tbh

If you are angry about 13 Iowa voters having no coherent political ideology and voting behavior, boy do I have bad news about almost everybody who votes. People literally walk into the booth not knowing who they’re gonna vote for and decide the second they cast their vote.

ill be fucking their little tri-corn hat wearing asses up. founding fathers never saw brazilian jui jitsu. Never saw muy thai. im putting ben franklin in a kimura.

Not when there’s profit to be had baby!

Fine I’ll do it

As always it’s a shame he’s such a piece of shit bc he is inadvertently hilarious

Babies on those 4d ultrasounds

I mean this has to be up there

Not sure one dude should be soooo rich and consequential that he can personally intervene in a literal war

“these things are you birthright as white Americans but you can’t have them bc of black immigrants are getting them”

Like Dink and Doink tbh

I used to teach argumentation in college writing (typically using Aristotle’s Rhetoric) and never once did I encourage lying. In fact discouraged it as part of establishing good character! If rhetoric is not “manipulation” idk what is.

If I don’t understand half the words in this, am I probably good?

I’m all right with this tbh. Freedom etc

Behold: the MOST LinkedIn post to ever link in.

Also breaking: my conservative uncle told my wife that the gender indoctrination students are getting in schools is “just as bad” as school shootings

Iggy Pop is short for Idward Papadopoulos

Guilty of it myself w an IG account but really there is no ethical way to remain on FB or other Meta platforms. Again, guilty myself.

😬

Home City Ice for one (1) eight hour shift. Terrible.

There is an alarming number of people who view yesterday’s school shooting as further proof we need more citizens with guns. It’s like a triumphant “see????” tone. I don’t even know, man.

I remember the story of the Good Samaritan a little differently

Forgot UM was the wolverines and was kinda confused by the choice of animal for a sec

Number 1 would be a good thing.

Slavery was and is a real thing that has brutalized hundreds of millions of people over the course of human history, if someone tells me a fucking chatbot is enslaved I'm immediately throwing hands. It's not cute, it's not intriguing, it's an insult to real people who suffered and suffer now.

I have been *haunted* by someone on here saying this to me yesterday. I cannot stop thinking about what this must be like.

Indiana is implementing new work requirements for Medicaid. We love to see that small government at work!

Never forget that Gladwell did an ep of his podcast imploring folks to consider how devastating police shootings are for cops too and the main expert he had on was a dude who wrote this book, which Gladwell doesn’t mention at all.

Counterpoint: the people who think The Lincoln Project got Joe Biden elected love the Newsom goofy meme shit

The Today show asked the Chick Fil A CEO about the company’s history with LGBTQ rights and his response was: “Well, for anybody that hasn't tried us, we'd love for you to come try and have our great-tasting food and the hospitality that we're known for.” Fuck this company forever and always.
