Apple... I'm glad that your cable is the only cable in my collection that uses the ID pin but what is up with the resistance in your cables? Why is it worse than any of the cheapest cables I have? This makes it the cable with the highest resistance in my collection.

Can we please discuss how @lizzierfreeman.bsky.social serves as the English VA for characters in nearly all my favorite anime series (too many) and all my favorite animated YouTube shows (ASDF, TADC)? Please keep up that awesome work. There are no words to describe how much I appreciate your work.

re @anthropic.com: I've identified industrial-scale copyright violations on my content by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, X, and more. These companies created thousands of crawlers incorporating the text of all my blog posts, open source code, and books into their paid AI models to profit exorbitantly.

Yeah because paying for generating CP content is the solution to the problem or what

Elon Musk's AI company has restricted Grok's controversial AI image-generation feature to only paying subscribers on X, after the tool invited heated criticism from across the world for letting users generate sexualized images of women and children.

We noticed a rising interest regarding the use of AI in browsers. To be clear about our position on this: Zen currently is disabling all AI features included in Firefox and will continue to do so.

What the heck is the mess that calls itself Google Maps... They deleted my address again and placed my neighbor's address in the same GPS position as the next house.

OpenStreetMaps has it correct and, funnily enough, has the aforementioned neighbors with "2 houses" (it's just the garage extension) on the same address. Astonishingly it doesn't cause any bugs (except clipping on the map)

A question for all PostgreSQL users. How do you efficiently import a 457315-line SQL? It's "only" a database with free emoji domains of different TLDs using ALL emojis of the Open Emoji API. Is there a more efficient way than importing it using `psql ... -a -f file.sql`? #postgres #sql #dev

And no... This is sadly not a troll post but sure feels like it. I'm actually trying to do that since I'm migrating from SQLite to PostgreSQL.

Thinking of Greta Thunberg (and co) and those being attacked by ICE in LA. Lot of horrible stuff going on right now but also A LOT of people standing up for what's right.

#Threads / Meta continue feeling the heat from the #Bluesky. They're testing letting you pin any feed as your home, and making feeds more visible on mobile. Bluesky and Mastodon will continue to be my home though. Fool me once with a bajillionaire-owned platform...
