ENG |🔎 Today Hélène Malmanche presents the preliminary results of the qualitative part of the @soc-misc.bsky.social project at the AFS congress in Toulouse, carried out among those with a miscarriage in the last five years in mainland France. 1/2 #AFSToulouse2025

In addition, @heinivaisanen.bsky.social presented a poster 'Social inequalities in (recurrent) miscarriage risk among Finnish mothers' with preliminary results finding discrepancies in #miscarriage risk in Finland by income, but less so by education or migrant status using administrative data 3/3

Yesterday, @mccompans.bsky.social presented on 'Miscarriage prevalence and factors: a multi-source approach in France', discussing the +/- of using surveys, administrative, and qualitative data to study #miscarriage. Triangulation is key and the right data source depends on research questions 2/3

The SOC-MISC team is currently attending the @eshre.bsky.social annual conference in Paris. We were able to present some of our research (see thread 🧵👇) and learn a lot from others. We commend the organisers for an interesting and thought provoking event! 1/3
