Adding to the backlog. This is a list of games I would like to revisit/replay. Multiplayer games are just whenever the guys are free again. Several of these will be modded runs, some I just want to see if I view them differently as an adult. Waiting for remasters for a few of them.

The list of games I haven't played and want to eventually beat one day. How bad is it looking?

I am not even remotely good at computers but for some reason my number keeps getting passed around in my company as the guy to call if they have tech support related issues despite the company having a dedicated service for this very issue. ...and yes I help them every time lol

I once got a call from a franchise out in New Mexico despite never having been there and not knowing a single person in my company who had been there. Yet somehow several people out there knew to call me. I don't even get paid for this shit lol

Haven't used blue sky as much but want to try and put some more time into it. Basically read something that suggested Quote Retweets on twitter were the best way to get engagement and it's worked really well. Also really focused on curating my feed to focus primarily on games.

My original issue with Twitter was my feed had a hard focus on politics and there was no filter for random videos from wars showing up that I didn't want to see. Took a while to fix that. It's still a toxic place but it's honestly feeling better now than before.

Still BlueSky feels better in terms of general vibe. Much more calm here. Need to figure out exactly how the algorithm works here. I'm fine with less engagement but if I'm unable to have any then there's not really a point to post here. Definitely don't want this app to be for arguments tho.

Square Enix shares this illustration of Vincent Valentine by Gen Kobayashi on the occasion of his upcoming birthday (Oct. 13). This illustration was featured in the 'Hidden Trials' set of the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game:

Currently working on Breath of the Wild. I've been pretty open about not being a fan of open world games. I have some issues with design choices so far but one thing I'll praise is the game is visually very pleasing. Love the art style.

Haven't updated here in a minute. I finished Links Awakening. Solid game. Simple Zelda concept. Exactly what I want out of a Zelda game. Also beat Metroid Dread. Don't typically play these kind of games. Had a good time with it. Definitely will play the next game.

A manager at work complained to me about the toxic work environment that is driving away the staff. The same manager that told other employees I was saying racist things and told two employees I accused them of theft to which I had to explain to them to always ask me directly about anything said

Fun fact. This game was delisted from Steam storefront due to the remaster releasing. While I have it on my steam page, it's silly that others are unable to purchase it on PC. Wonder why they won't list the remaster.

I will never understand the mentality of people saying "I want AAA turn based games" but then refuse to buy every turn based game that releases cause it isn't next Gen graphics. If you can't enjoy the genre without the best of the best graphics, that means you don't like turn based games.

Man I've gotten into so many little debates with people on twitter recently and so many ended with a mutual respect to agree to disagree. I did have a call with one that I still ended with largely disagreeing and I'm sure we're gonna have another argument at some point but still, eventful week.

The downside is some people who are very "anti woke" coded have started following me and I've been pretty clear I don't tolerate bigotry in my comments so going to be interesting to see where that goes

QTP with a game you played when you were -10 years old: Super Mario 64 -20 years old: Final Fantasy 11 -30 years old: Dark Souls I think? 3 maybe?

I know not everyone's experience with grief will be the same as mine but my personal observation over the years is the days leading up to fathers day, birthdays, Christmas, etc are almost always much more difficult to get through than the day itself which just ends up feeling like another day.

I have no idea what game to play next. I'm basically waiting for Revelation. Considering a few. Random Zelda game Golden Sun Lost odyssey Stranger of Paradise FF7 Remake replay Sea of Stars Probably some others I got recently but that's my current thoughts.

In the past 48 hours I've somehow gone from calling 3 seperate people some variation of insults to having long dm conversations with them both apologizing to me and enjoying our common interests. I'm really refining these conflict resolution skills through video game dialogue lol

One of the most common criticisms of the Remake trilogy is the sales difference between Remake and Rebirth. Often compared to E33 8mil copies sold year one. For some reason they never respond when you try and dive into context about why sales would be different.

The reunion at hand may bring joy, it may bring fear, but let us embrace whatever it brings, for they are coming back. At last, the promise has been made.

preorders not live yet, but Onimusha: Way of the Sword has a Steelbook Edition and a Standard Edition (PS5/XSX - $74.99/$69.99). Best Buy listings: buff.ly/2pceyPo #ad

Growing the collection a few games at a time. Started adding more to the list as I find older titles that look interesting. Some of them are getting very expensive.

Someone was working on making a private server for Nier reincarnation. Japanese fans found it and mass reported it to square enix. I honestly did not expect them to be so dead set on protecting Square for delisting a game. Zero consideration for art preservation. Crazy difference in culture.

Had an entire crew walk out of my shift today. I don't speak Spanish but I assume I was called an asshole as they texted the other manager that I'm an asshole. (I didn't let them eat the waste food for free). Fun job.
