I saw this yesterday .. So long DevBox 🫡 We hardly tapped your true potential. Personally I really liked this service as an alternative to the "external consultant laptop" that had to bought in bulk, set on standby and often picked up physcially or shipped.. just to join customer networks.

Why, in this AI age, do we still not have AI intent based filtering on social media posts? I'd like to not see certain posts but often just using keywords isn't enough. But I following people seems like a hard thing to do because of their connection and other posts.

I was testing another email service, pretty big one from France. I noticed outgoing email was leaking my IP in the headers so made a ticket. They said they couldn't change shared hosting just for me. I suggested changing it for all customers, IPs are PII.. "no, go to privacy email hosts for that"

Never ever trusting @mailbox.org again.. they have banned my account for sending test emails. Testing done because messages were ending up in people's spam folder. Absolutely ridiculous!

Argh, finally selected a new email host, migrated EVERYTHING to it, all correct settings.. works great for three days.. now: 550 5.1.1 : Recipient address rejected: User unknown in relay recipient table And support has a 48 hours reply window.

New email service i've been testing for a while offers migration service via audriga. The source is Outlook.com account, displayed as supported on all websites.. yet the service doesn't support OAuth (outside of Entra ID migrations). I think consumer accounts have been OAuth only for a long time.

Why is every email host with ActiveSync protocols enabled on the planet hot garbarge? I just add a calendar item (the whole freaking point of AES) and it says "synced" .. but it never goes through. Multiple services, multiple mailboxes, multiple client apps. All garbage?

Contacted an IOT supplier that something was missing in their firmware. Within 1 hour I got a new testing firmware with a fix I can't flash the new firmware because the flasher crashes at 20%.. 10/10 service speed.. Unusable but speedy non the less! What if they just send 3mb of garbage to delay?

I love my logitech mx master 3 mouse but the scroll wheel is a bit gunked up.. doesn't fly like it used to. To clean it, you have to tear off the glide pads and remove five hidden screws .. FIVE! What an ass design.
