Let's not forget JK Rowling won essay of the year for her anti trans manifesto

Absolutely not, but the problem is most of British journalism revolves around racist targeting and harassment, from Arday, to immigrants, to anyone who isn’t white. Transphobic harassment too. And so on.

I appreciate that people want a new Mass Effect, but the future where fans advocate for the work itself and not the people who make it is the one the vultures at EA want. If you'll take it however you get it, they can keep treating people who make what you love as expendable.

kotaku.comWhat Does It Even Mean To ‘Save’ Mass Effect? - KotakuThousands of fans are rallying around a campaign to save the series after BioWare's shutdown, but what does that look like?

I've now seen 4 episodes of Visionquest. I'm glad it ended on a cliffhanger because it was losing me a bit. It's good but trying too hard to do too much. It just doesn't have the aesthetic or thematic cohesion to make it fully work.

I'm wondering if with GTA VI being released next month amid huge industry buyouts followed by shutdowns, whether this is the end of AAA games as we know it. Many are committed to AI which will make games worse and consoles too expensive which will land them in a death loop imo

I think I should just stop trying to engage with banter/fun online. Maybe it's my neurodivergence but I just seem to upset people when I think I'm just joining in the fun. And I just end up feeling like I did in school, like I can't hang with the cool kids because I'm too weird

I did Christmas temp at Boots and I was on the top floor and stock was in the basement but you weren't allowed to use the lift unless you had a trolley and every customer you had to go check the stock room if they asked about a product even if you knew it was out of stock 1/2

So I was doing almost 30k steps a day. I lasted a few weeks maybe. I also quit sixth form after the first day and went to college instead because all the promises my school made about being treated like adults etc were complete bullshit

With the NHS announcement today it feels like all this and the panel at the Labour conference are totally superficial. Just a way for MPs to alleviate their consciences as trans people suffer and die

I recently spoke on a fringe panel at TUC Congress about what comes next in the fight for trans rights. I was pleased that the congress passed a motion to oppose the EHRC Code of Practice, demonstrating that trade unionists understand that trans rights are a workers’ rights issue too.

Nothing is more infuriating to me in the modern era than how they're remaking and adapting works that specifically soften their edges; making characters more palatable and less complex. Just like how they've sucked the physical colour out of so many films, they're doing the same with characters

The News at Ten: Labour hail their biggest success since Starmer became PM; only losing 3% of their vote share. Meanwhile, Zack Polanski is under pressure to resign as leader of the Greens after a dismal by-election that saw him gain only 23 points on the last election for Holborn and St Pancrs

Gaydies and Gentlethems, this is the woman that just over the weekend several press outlets were bigging up as a political heavyweight ready to re-emerge as serious competition to Farage and Burnham

"I'm not a defence expert." Even by Kemi Badenoch's lamentable standards, this is agonising. Just give thanks she will never, ever be Prime Minister. 🙏 #politicslive

My Roman Empire is the story conceit from Final Fantasy Type-0. To wage an eternal war, when someone dies they are forgotten by everyone who knows them. They're aware the person died but feel no emotional connection to them because their memories are rewritten without that person in them. Brutal.
