The infamous "WET YOURSELF..." Super Mario Sunshine print ad is often posted online without context, leading many to believe it is fake or fan-made. However, it is very much real, appearing on page 130 of issue 119 of the British Nintendo Official Magazine.

i have been playing fortune's weave throughout october and staving my urge to post 100 times a day about it by writing in an extremely long notes document, comprised of a mixture of complaints, praise, and neutral thoughts. currently at 12k words and will probably hit 15k when im done 🙃🙃

it's straight up offensive how this game has unprecedented levels of peak in fe history sandwiched between the most inane forehead-through-the-drywall bullshit in fe history. the maps are exhilarating and the cast/world are fascinating but then i have to get back on my grind of finding Bunkus >:(

dea
@mayordea.art

if you come to my vent post saying the settlement restoration segment of part 3 was actually soooo easy and you had all the materials stocked up in part 1 i am putting my forehead through your drywall if you catch my drift 👍

and guides online are just like. "bunkus is a rare vegetable, so it has a low probability of being found from random search!" (does not tell you what tile actually gives you bunkus). "use rare vegetable crates (which you have to roll for every turn) to POTENTIALLY get bunkus!" shut upppp SHUT UP

dea
@mayordea.art

and yknow mars' temple is like the only settlement i havent restored on the world map atp and so all my free time has been dedicated to combing the map for any tiles with unknown rare drops or rolling the dice to get luxury veg crates to then roll the dice again to get it. i'm so fucking maddd

the swordmaster is one of my favorite fe archetypes and i was thrilled to see it's in this game as a master class. but in order to get the simple privilege to even reclass into it i need a vegetable. which i don't have. a fucking vegetable is holding me back

dea
@mayordea.art

the temple/settlement restoration stuff in part 3 is honestly a cool concept EXCEPT for when you dont have the random bunkus needed to rebuild the thing you ACTUALLY wanna restore for its reward and the game does fuck all to hint at to where to find the undescriptive Bunkus

it's a hot mess of bullet points that are two paragraphs long each with minimal subheadings, hoping to clean it up into a proper long post about all my thoughts. it's a big game, a game with a lot to chew on. but i will spare a bsky post to share my number one grievance right now:

Artists, the pressure to 'find your style' is a product derived from capitalism. As you continue to create, you will keep finding new things in your style. Your style will keep changing and evolving. It is not a finite finishing line. It is something that you are constantly always learning.

Previously I have posted about a Nintendo of Europe downloadable premium animated wallpaper that featured a bizarre Toad eating the wallpaper. The files have finally been datamined, allowing the Wallpaper-Eating Toad to be observed in never-before-seen maximum quality.
