Gameoverse is GREENLIT FOR FULL PRODUCTION! The 8-episode season begins in May 2027

So excited for this! I regret getting rid of my childhood Ninja Megazord, and this one looks like it could be a good substitute. The Thunder Megazord was better than I expected, so I have high hopes for this one.

Surprise! Here’s the first look at the upcoming combinable Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Ninja Megazord (well, their individual Ninjazords anyway) from Playmates Toys! What do you think? Will they join your collection? [Photos via wanjujiezilaiye on X]

Finally got around to playing through Castlevania IV today. Did it the proper way, sitting on the floor right in front of the TV. Had a great time. That Dracula fight feels so good when you finally get all the paterns down.

Man, iTunes really butchers SD video. Sealab doesn't exactly have the highest quality visuals, but even it looks far worse on iTunes vs the DVD. All the detail gets smoothed over. It's like smearing vasaline over the image. iTunes on left, DVD on right.

I've wanted a G2 Laser Prime for a long time, and I finally treated myself to one. Usually I prefer to open toys, but I think I might make an exception for this one. It's not sealed, but it appears to have never been fully removed from the box. #Transformers #OptimusPrime #ToyPics

Got new storage for my PS3 game cases. Also got replacement cases for some damaged ones. Not quite enough room, but this is about 98% of my PS3 games.

It sucks living 12 hours away from my only nephew. I wish I could see him more. I'm glad my sister at least keeps me up to date on him as much as she can.

Ok, the Super Station has earned its keep. Ain't no way I'll ever find a Sailor Moon arcade board, and if I did I imagine it will be stupid expensive. At least with this I can play it.

Dolly Parton's death is hitting me hard. She's like a legend in Tennessee. We all grew up hearing about her and all the good she's done. The world is a better place for for having her in it, and she will be missed.

My manager found out I'm building a custom arcade cabinet and his response was, "You should ask AI to give you instructions" Why on earth would I want that? It's a hobby project. The whole point is learning and taking my time. Spending hours reading or watching videos about it is half the fun.

Sometimes my body likes to remind me that I did have pretty major surgery not that long ago. I'm doing great most of the time, but if I push myself a bit too far I really feel it. I've heard from other folks with similar hernia surgery say it takes about year to be fully back, and I had 3 of them 😭

I don't want to complain too much though. I feel a billion times better than I did before. I just need to be aware of my limits while the meshes fully grow into the muscles.

Eh, I think I'll pass on this one. That is one jank looking Dragonzord. What is it with Playmates not being able to transform their toys correctly? Not even in a Kickstarter where you'd think they'd be extra careful.

AI Guy Asks AI To Help Him Read Difficult Books

Brandon Friedman@brandonfriedman.bsky.social

Axios writer: I melted my brain with AI. Not only can I no longer read, but I don't even understand the purpose of reading anymore. Here's how you can also do this. www.axios.com/2026/08/11/r...

I hate buying used games on ebay. The listing will be like "Game CIB, Mint Disc! PERFECT CONDITION" Then it gets here and looks like someone ran it over with a lawn mower and then let their dog poop on it. It's like we're getting the old MySpace angles with disc shots to hide the damage.

Not that in person buying is much better here in Kansas City. We barely have any retro game stores left, and the one still around is mostly funko pops. Their games are all wedged as tightly as they can get them on a shelf and are damaged, but they price them all like their new and sealed.

The Odyssey might be the first time I've sat through a 3 hour movie and thought that it probably should have been about an hour our so longer. i really enjoyed the film, but I felt like it really had to rush to get through the story. A bit of extra time to let it breath would be nice.

Well crap. My original Xbox's DVD drive stopped reading discs. Not a huge deal, as I can rip them on my PC and transfer them over, but it sucks that it adds steps. I just want to buy a game and play it. I've got a second Xbox, might try swapping drives.

Pseudoregalia is easily my favorite game of the past 4 or 5 years. It's easily among the best platformers of all time. I love how it looks, and the controls feel amazing. I've replayed it several times, and it's always a blast.
