As the dust is settling, let me just reiterate how PROUD I am of our little team and our little Knightling💗 For more than 5 years I lived in this world, writing the stories of the characters within, and now finally everyone gets to visit!✨😭
After 5 YEARS of work, it's happening - THE KNIGHTLING IS OUT NOW!!!😭🎉🛡️ We couldn't be prouder and can't wait for the world to jump, slide and adventure through this colorful new world we built!✨ #indiedev

Played through TOEM 2 last week, what a lovely little game, just like the first one. Very polished, funny scenarios and the music has been gracing our living room for days already!
Had a great time with Absolum, cool unique blend of genres! I struggled for a long time with the first area but after deciding to tune down the difficulty a bit, I had a blast seeing the rest of it. Recommend!
The scale of the Yoshi "NPCs" in Mario Kart World is such an interesting gamedev case. It's either because they prioritize seeing them from a distance and at high speed, or a complete oversight. Knowing Nintendo it must be the former but still, it's so weird
It's not only Yoshi by the way, everything is hugely scaled up in the overworld. So it's obviously on purpose, I just wonder why they did that in a game designed to roam around at slower speeds as well instead of only zooming past linear tracks

The Knightling, an open world 3D Zelda-like I gave a 10 last year, is on a massive sale at the moment. Great puzzles, snappy combat and a heartfelt narrative. Its mesmerizing soundtrack is one I still listen to.
You won't regret it.
Don't let billionaires convince you slop is the future. They're used to managing & directing, not making things themselves. Of course they can't see the difference. They don't understand your love for the craft. Keep making personal, beautiful games.
You've got my support 💖
Kenney Shape is now FREE! (and it'll remain free, forever) ✨
Previously a paid tool, I'm releasing it as a gift to the community. Today's update will be the final one, with no further updates planned. That way I can focus on new software & projects!

new Epic Games Launcher in preview -
"Programming is hard. So, instead of doing that, we vibe coded a new Epic Games Launcher that’s way faster and more responsive than the current one, and has a new look."

oh my god
"...Helgason replied, “Sure, this kind of democratization means that there will be some, or maybe quite a lot of games made that are very similar, without a lot of originality or vision – but then again that’s already the current state of the industry anyway.”"
Happy Birthday to the game that started it all, Pine! 🌲🎉 This was our first commercial release, and it set us on our path to where we are today. Thank you so much to everyone for supporting us over the years 💚

This is Miyamoto. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2 is cancelled. I need some time to relax and bounce on dick. I'll release new games when I feel like it.

Can't wait for Toby Fox to finish DELTARUNE and start on the third game in the anagram trilogy, "UNRELATED," which will be a AAA FPS hero shooter with 10 trillion microtransactions, a battle pass, be P2W, and cost $80 ($100 for premium edition, no disc) and no character overlap because its unrelated

Been very happy with this so far - given that most people on our team have been with us since the start or the start of their career, we run the risk of not mixing in fresh new ideas from outside enough, as we don't hire often. So this has been a great way to do just that!
Our Lunch and Learn program is a series of guest speakers and experts who visit our studio and tell us about their area of expertise! We started it earlier this year and it's a great way for a studio like ours to get fresh ideas, learn new ways to work, and get inspired for how to make games ✨
Thank you @rystorm.com for coming and talking to us for our studio's September Lunch and Learn! We learned so much from the tools design masterclass and appreciate your time to answer our questions and help us improve our workflows. 👍
Important PSA from us at Nintendo of America.
Shigeru Miyamoto, head producer of titles in the Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda series, was found to have been turned into a cocoon, with a note from him attached to the outside.
"This is Miyamoto. In just 9 months I will be a beautiful Miyamoth."
Since it's our little game's birthday, our artists will be doing art drops throughout the month! First up, we have environment artist Lotte, who created everyone's favorite cosmetic superstore, the Tailor shop!
