Arlene Gregory had a profound impact on my life. Beyond being my favorite high school teacher, the woman who taught me how to write, she was the one person who encouraged me to reach for my dreams and apply to @cmu.edu when others counseled to be "practical." Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine.
