Tried something with Agent 365. My agent runs on an autopilot identity and queries Work IQ, so when I ask "which meetings did you have today?" it returns its own calendar, not mine. On an autopilot identity the token identifies the agent, not the user, so Work IQ answers as the agent.

Agent Identity in Microsoft Foundry is pretty cool! I built an Entra-authenticated MCP server, and getting it to work with declarative agents + M365 Copilot meant setting up OAuth 2.0 very carefully. In Foundry? No extra work. The agent has its own identity in the tenant, so everything just clicks.

Success! 🎉 I’ve got an MCP server secured with Entra authentication, managed via Azure API Management, and consumed by a declarative agent using OAuth 2.0. I’m currently deep in prep for an internal event, but I’ll try to carve out time soon to write a blog post. More to come! #Microsoft365
