For the sake of having an introduction: Hello, I'm Mop, I'm what some would call a writer. I've done a few bits and bobs for Arcbeatle Press, and my current personal project is a workplace comedy series called "The Nine-Two-Five Universe" ninetwofiveuniverse.wordpress.com

ninetwofiveuniverse.wordpress.comThe Nine-Two-Five UniverseArt by Aristide Twain Once upon a time, Jenny Over-There was a character in an April Fools Day story published on AO3. I didn't take it seriously back then, hence why it featured elements such as The ...

While there are many overwhelming problems with AI, one that I feel insane over is this idea that someone out there wants to have a conversation to find out stuff rather than just asking once and seeing a few results.

In general I don't get the impulse to be talkative with a search engine. Most of my searches aren't longer than two words, mainly because that still takes me to a page with an answer, that's what I want, I don't want to fucking roleplay a Q&A session with a chatbot

The Treachery of Don Rosa (aka. Ce n’est pas DuckTales)

Leaving Heroes Con and heading home. But, of course, a Heroes visit wouldn't be complete without getting a glimpse of Don Rosa's cranky-ass THIS IS NOT DUCKTALES sign. #HeroesCon2026

#orctober day twenty-six!! #tockthegnome style again, with Ka’thagg in a very likely AU situation. I don't aspire to much in terms of my work's legacy, but I do hope that, one day, people will Google "Dynamite Thor" and my version of the character shows up before that one reboot created by a racist putz

There's too many to choose from! The interminably charming art fiend, @aristidetwain.bsky.social, has been offering his services to the 925 Universe for over 3 years, and let me tell you, it'll be a dark day whenever it ends. I love working with that chap. His work is so characterful and vibrant.

Jenny O.'s definitely a stock Lizzie Borden-type* — fed up with your shit, taking an axe. Dynamite Thor gets to be the super rare Brightburn twisted hero — he's impervious to explosions... And maybe other types of pain? What is he capable of? The Man in Grey is already a stock horror cultist.

Please try to remember the 25th of #Octember! TODAY'S QUESTION: What would your characters be if they were a horror movie villain? Not just a "guy with knife" but a "I was impaled by a tree trunk and walked it off" kind of villain? 1/2 #WriteSky #WritingCommunity

What that fascinates me the most about fiction is the active creative choices an author makes and the reasons they make them. This is especially true of franchises and interpretations of characters or settings. AI doesn't make choices. It's entirely absent of cognition. It's boring to invest in.

I’ll go with my most recent, Alan and Sheila (formerly Alex and Shannen, the Sinneslöschen T9872638 Entertainment And Work System Whiz Kids). At best, they just talk back and forth inanely like it's one of those airy official brand podcasts that can't say anything meaningful. At worst…

Tell me about your #AwesomeCharacters Hypothetical day! You have just settled in to your seat for a 12 hour flight when the person assigned to the seat next to you arrives. It is one of your antagonists. Who is your seatmate, and how bad is this? #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts

Having a little idea you wanted to draw and it gets much bigger then you intended So anyways! Have some art with Morgan, thinking of solitary night and crisp breeze. It can be lonely even when you know there's so many people out there #ocart #artistsupport
