Yay Deutsche Bahn. DANKE.

Now spinning in a beautiful pearlescent white: 10th anniversary edition of @porterrobinson.com's WORLDS! I mainly love "Sad Machine" and "Goodbye to a World" from these - but they are all absolute bangers to me! This marks my third vinyl Album. Plenty more to come! #VinylSky #NowSpinning #Music

Okay, guess I lied - actual final credit. Yay for late flights effectively giving you another day! Yay for Events rotating exactly on the day and you barely having enough time to unlock everything by paying 4x credits!

I listened to Porter Robinson AFTER it was cool <3 Final Credit of the Vacation - thank you for, once again, an amazing batch of memories, Japan!

On one hand: safety first. On the other hand: Dangit, I was really looking forward to trying Weiss Schwarz Online :( Ah well, I'll take a chase card on release day as consolation price <3 Context: Due to the incoming Typhoon no.25, Tokio Game Show has been cancelled for Monday and Ticket refunded

Now Spinning! Shelter - in it's 10th Anniversary Edition! If there is ONE Porter Robinson Song you should (and probably already do) know, it's this one. It's emotional beyond anything else. Every disc of this Edition is uniquely coloured! #vinyl #vinylsky #music

It sits in harmony with the 10th Anniversary Edition of the "Rin" Figurine, showing the Protagonist of the Animation made for this Song. I think this is a must-have for me, I feel like I connect with this music so much, even if I try to live my life more "up-beat". #shelter // @porterrobinson.com

Friday Night

Friday at last…

[Content Warning: AI] So at work, I have been happily chugging along with Claude, but at home I had yet avoided a coding harness - but gave it a shot with qwen3.8 in a sufficiently quantized size that I could use it. It's been mostly frustrating. My "benchmark" effectively was "make a STS2 mod"

2 Sept

As in: "Create a scaffold, bare-minimum, Hello World new Character Mod so I can then drop some art into it" Even after I told it where to look for the game and to stop decompiling another mod, things just did not end up working/compiling within 3 hours. The AI Model runs. It "thinks". It fails.

Basically: It has shown me once again that there will remain a space to "do stuff yourself" - there are plenty resources for modding Slay the Spire 2. I likely could have gotten it up and running within 30 Minutes had I done it "myself". This did not feel "good".

I once heard someone describe game design as "the art of creating pleasurable friction," and while they immediately started laughing after saying that, they were entirely correct. More people could stand to remember that fact.

I have successfully spent "a lot of money"

I'm immensely happy @jocat.net got their Accounts back. I hate how this relatively "simple" way of social engineering people to get them to run malware is this successful This "let's play Minecraft!" approach has also reached me (but I already heard of it by then) and goes beyond pre-paid art scam

[...] peer-reviewed sources. For close friends and family: Establish some "safe word" or "secret phrase" you use when you are unsure about another's identity. It's a pain, but can be incredibly effective. ALWAYS delete the chat log of it if you do end up using it - else scammers will see it, too.

And, another good quote from the lovely Atomic Shrimp on YouTube: "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is" and "You know, the kind of information you should never share with a stranger on the internet."

Up front: Yes, it shouldn't be possible to "so easily" hijack session cookies. I have no immediate answer for all these giant corpos how they could be made more secure or actually non-stealable. If it was "easy to fix", I feel like this would already be in place. Requiring MFA for security-[...]

now spinning! Nurture by Porter Robinson Together with "SMILE! :D", this will forever stay my first Vinyl Album. This "HAPPY SAD" music focused around "Something Comforting" and "Look at the Sky" are what define deeply emotional composition for me. #vinyllove #musicsky

I'm genuinely happy I got to put this Disc on after a friend sent me a brief video short of one of the songs - it just feels right to physically have the music right here, without any internet required. Just well-defined grooves remembering those older tunes <3
