I see screens full of text at #sapteched. Then paste a prompt (how long did you need to come up with it). Wait for the LLM to spit out pages of response. Then the user says “looks about right. Approve” 😂 Vibing the Enterprise Will this really improve your bottom line?

Wrote @namespace in each TypeScript UI5 controller? TypeScript development got smoother with ui5-tooling-transpile 3.14.0. It auto-detects the namespace from your project structure. Apps, libraries, middleware scenarios: all covered. No annotation needed. Read more: community.sap.com/t5/technolog...

Users aren’t ready for bugs to be fixed or new features to be available the same day they filed a ticket or request.

Dear @bsky.app Why does your app indent my replies to my own posts? It would be much nicer if these all showed straight down without indentation. Also your app would not run out of space to the right when there are more than 5 replies in a row. 🙏

Will we live in a world where software is essentially bug free? Will AI fix bugs faster than it finds new ones? 🤔

A+ presentation and write up For anyone in IT Check it out…

The Drift That Haunts Your BTP, from SAP Inside Track Sydney 2026 secondphase.com.au/the-drift-th... Many of the talks this day were on AI Mine asked the question what happens if we rely on it too much. A few people have asked me to share the slides so here they are.

It’s a bit surprising that LLMs do fairly well with ABAP given the lack of public training data. What do you think? - public open-source ABAP is sufficient for training - ABAP is like English therefore easy for LLMs - SAP gave « ABAP data » to the big AI companies for training

Will programming languages that can be formally verified save the day? One AI builds, a different AI proves Like Lean for Math but we need it for the complete stack (maybe including hardware, too)

How is it possible that gigantic projects "switch" to a different programming language... in a few months, not years? AI can migrate code with relative ease now, but that's not it... It's the fact that these projects have high quality tests and excellent test coverage! 1/2

Lesson: If you want to go faster in your migration projects, from one DB to another, on-prem to cloud, TypeScript to Rust, ERP to S/4, invest in testing first. Then everything else will become a lot easier. 2/2

I might go insane... Can someone please confirm that a stream like this has been calculated by some computer and mathematical formulas? I understand a how LLMs work, but how these machines are implementing something incredibly complex that has afaict not existed before is just mindbogling 🤯

The replies I'm getting sound like they are coming from a world expert on cryptography who's a SAP Basis admin and an ABAP coder with 20 years of experience. Tbh, I don't look at the code. Neither do I read the chat! I don't understand half of it. But we make a great team 😄

Me: How do I forward port 80 to 8000? AI: iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 8080 Me: What is the target port??? 😵

abaplint now has a new xml_bom rule Set it to true so that your agents always add the BOM as required by abapGit Brought to you using Codex on my iPhone during a rainy day in Muskoka, GPT 4.6 Terra medium about $1 What a time to be alive #abap

We know exactly what works: • Rapid fossil fuel phase-out • Massive renewable expansion • Nature restoration • Fair climate finance Emissions are still rising, but the tools to reverse this exist. The only missing ingredient is political will. Demand better. Vote better. Act better.

AI is such a bad liar I was asking for a bad weather event earlier this year, it found a story from 2022 and projected it to AUGUST 27-28, 2026 🤣 #perplexity

The revolution is one the way Open Source for the win The point is not vibe coding but whether such projects can turn into a well functioning and supported solution. But then how many want to self host? Most won’t so there’s still services to offer that users will pay for canivibecodeit.com

canivibecodeit.comCan I Vibecode It? — Which subscriptions are one prompt away from freeThe leaderboard of SaaS apps you can replace with one AI prompt. Honest verdicts, the exact prompt to run, and what you lose by leaving.

The magic of abaplint and AI This time I prompted it but with system instructions (ie "run abaplint after every change") it will automatically take care of syntax, style, and coding conventions. PS: Cursor agent with auto "mystery" model, ~130k tokens, 13 files, +1362, -266
