Have a bit a strange relationship with Magic lately as I have not found any card since Final Fantasy that has really made me want to build decks and I’m still building different commander decks around Final Fantasy cards.

MagicCon Amsterdam is over and I’m so glad to have seen friends again and to have made several new ones. I chose to get my Quiver Bolt signed by the creators I met and the other New Perspective people at the convention too. Looks really sick and I will be using this a lot now.

Phial of Galadriel is the best 3 mana rock I have put in all of my decks. It’s incidental extra draw over a game really does add up and if you like to play aggressive strategies like me it puts in work. Also helps get out of those moments you’re stuck top decking, wheels also draw you an extra card.

Does anyone know any art1sts that specialise in gothic-esque deep dungeon / fear & hunger style art? I guess you could throw bloodborne, elden ring & dark souls in that list too. I have a really cool idea but I would love to find the right person to collaborate with.

I picked up Silksong and having not played the first game and not really liking souls games or difficult games I’ve actually been enjoying it despite swearing at the game every few seconds.

It’s really sad to see Zarah buddying up with transphobes. Won’t support Your Party in its current form and would still have no party worth voting for at the next election.

This is so true. I engage with MTG daily and I could not tell you what the latest secret lairs were or remember any of the few things I have seen of Spider-Man, EoE or Airbender. I’m still brewing new decks every week and playing several games a week.

Having now played the FFXIV Commander deck a few times now I really like the way this deck plays. Lots of cool cards in the deck it’s just a shame it falls down like normal with the precons on the lands. Really wish they would stop using filter lands as they make for really horrible turns.

Picked up my FF MTG precon today. Some very pretty magic cards which I can’t wait to get done games with.
