If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, gun reform, universal child care, and a living wage. And we certainly wouldn't have public executions. The right-wing agenda isn’t about “life.” It's about cruelty.

Doctor Fauci is a hero. Neither my husband nor myself would likely be alive if he hadn't worked tirelessly on HIV/AIDS research and facilitated drug development. He was also the voice of reason during the COVID-19 pandemic. Those who denigrate him by extension opposes the concept of public helath.

Just watched the Odyssey in an XD theater with only 10 people. Not a single cell phone went off. 11pm weeknight shows are the best. The movie was great also, but took significant departures from the poem, especially the ending (no spoilers).
