Our veterans should never have to worry about where their next meal will come from. But Republican cuts to SNAP are putting food assistance at risk for veterans who need it. That’s unacceptable. I’m fighting to restore food programs and make sure no veteran, child, or senior goes hungry.

Meta misled consumers about the privacy of their personal information, and now it's being held accountable. I'm proud of NM for standing up for consumers, and I'll keep fighting to give New Mexicans more control over their data and make sure Big Tech's profits don't come at the expense of privacy.

We cannot let up in the fight to preserve the Roadless Rule, which protects our forests, wildlife, and watersheds and supports NM’s outdoor recreation economy. ICE is terrorizing our communities, making people afraid to go to work or even step outside. This isn’t making our communities safer. Republicans wrote ICE a blank check, enabling reckless thugs to terrorize our neighbors. They own the chaos and fear they’ve unleashed across America.

President Trump promised to lower costs on day one. It’s just another broken promise. New Mexicans are paying the price for Trump’s never-ending war and reckless trade war.

President Trump used your tax dollars to run a self-promotional, illegal TV ad to distract from soaring prices and his reckless war in Iran, with no end in sight. Congressional Republicans wrote a blank check from Trump's Department of Homeland Security – and this is what they are spending it on.

President Trump and Russ Vought are stealing nearly $1 billion in funding Congress already approved. They don’t get to pick which laws to follow and which ones to break. I’m fighting to get these funds to the New Mexico students, families, and small businesses counting on them.

Gun violence has no place in our schools and our communities. Every educator, student, and family deserves to feel safe, and we must continue working to prevent violence and protect our communities. I’m praying for Mr. Matthews and the entire Highland Middle School community.

It was an honor to provide the keynote at the @nmsu.edu Domenici Public Policy Conference. Senator Domenici showed that bipartisanship isn’t about agreeing on everything. It’s about finding common ground and getting things done for folks at home. That’s the NM tradition I’m proud to carry forward.

I’m leading the NM Congressional Delegation in calling on Apple and Google to keep New Mexico as New Mexico on their maps. President Trump has no legal authority to rename our state. New Mexico’s name belongs to our people – not the president. The companies have until Sept 18 to publicly commit.

I was in Rio Arriba County yesterday and had one clear message from New Mexicans: our public lands are NOT for sale!

ICE's plan to spend millions of taxpayer dollars on shock gloves raises serious concerns about safety, accountability, and the potential for abuse. Given ICE’s record of excessive force and lack of transparency, I’m calling on ICE to scrap this plan and focus on holding its officers accountable.

This is deeply sad. Measles cases continue to spread even though vaccines are safe, effective, and readily available. Don’t believe the dangerous conspiracies coming from the Trump administration. Protect yourself, your family, and your community. Get vaccinated.

Alongside the community, I fought to get RECA signed into law and deliver compensation to New Mexicans. I was proud to be in Gallup last week to help ensure New Mexicans receive what they are owed.

Targeting families seeking care at a health clinic and arresting them in the parking lot is sickening. These reckless thugs have no place in our communities. Families shouldn’t have to fear that getting medical care for their child could put their family at risk.

Taking food from 5 million Americans – including 1.5 million children – is nothing to be proud of.

New Mexico’s specialty crop farmers struggle every year with weather disasters, drought, and market uncertainty. That’s why I introduced the CHILE Act to bring federal support to the producers of our chile, pecans, and other specialty crops that make our state’s food so special.

Americans deserve to know that no one is above the law, especially the President of the United States. The Department of Justice must protect the people – not those who break the law.
