defector.comHow Much Fire Emblem Is Too Much Fire Emblem? When I was on the fence about buying a Nintendo Switch 2, I held off with the self-aware knowledge that I would eventually cave come September. I knew that Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave would break me....

Fortune's Weave is a great Fire Emblem game, but it is also the *most* Fire Emblem game. I tried to understand my feelings of frustration with the bloat alongside the joy I've experienced playing it for 70-plus hours. defector.com/how-much-fir...

Have been singing that “I did a big fat shit at KFC” song to myself all week. There’s something seriously wrong with my brain.

For the uninitiated that don’t go on the other site anymore:

Anthony Edwards is so good at basketball, damn it.

The person absolutely howling into the crowd mic of the Dream-Valks game is cracking me up. They sound like they’re ascending to a higher plane of existence.

Giannis just made Rudy Gobert look as foolish as he did on March 9, 2020.

I missed watching the NBA* *the Boston Celtics drop a big stinky turd on national television

I thought Barcelona played very well, gave up two bangers, a corner, and a "fell asleep defending" goal. Could have been better, could have been worse.

Lamine Yamal, that was naughty.

My god, a Florian Wirtz goal. Ring the bells, the apocalypse is nigh.

Alexis double, yes, love it, but wow Rio is having an unbelievable game for Liverpool today.

Really enjoyed Big Ron scoring then jumping into the Anfield crowd and getting mobbed.

Lamine giving the ball away so stupidly leading into a PSG goal, I'm ready to end it.

Sick, Paramount+ is crapping the bed right before Barca-PSG, love to not see it.

Find it funny that the people happiest about the Dodgers getting eliminated are NL West fans (fair), Blue Jays fans (understandable), and Mets fans (inexplicable).

The main thing I want from GTA 6, and it looks like the game will deliver that, is crazy set pieces. I don't really care about the realism or the living world or the graphics, none of that. Just let me do some ridiculous missions and I'll be happy.
