WoW Forever sounds amazing. I have a couple of minor nitpicks, but all in all it sounds like Blizzard is doing everything right with this one.

I'm very curious about how they're gonna solve longterm balancing if they're planning on adding new raid tiers beyond Classic's tier 4. I guess that won't be a problem for the first few years of Forever, though.

Also: I wish they had done something different than adding an entirely new race because they need a "pretty" race for the horde. They should have just added draenei and blood elves instead. I think they could have made it work even without the Outland storylines.

So they still have no intention of trying to turn things around. But hey. At least Xbox hardware seems to be going out on a high note if you look at the slate of releases in recent years and going forward.

I wonder if it would have been a better idea to center the entire movie around Nal Hutta. Would have made for a more focused movie, at least.

They should get Glenn Howerton to play the villain

It hasn't been too long since we learned that a Far Cry TV series is in the works. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Rob Mac and Alien: Earth's Noah Hawley are leading the charge. https://bit.ly/3P6BUWS

I've always liked this episode, but it has grown even more on me in recent years. Especially as I've been reflecting on my childhood. Growing up I used to identify the most with Bart, and I still do in some areas, but in reality I have more in common with Lisa.

I still think that Xbox as a console platform is cooked. They've done too much damage to the brand and I don't think they have it in them to turn it around.

I'm really curious to see what the new Stargate show looks like now. I initially wanted a complete reboot with a clean slate, but I'm coming around to the news about the show taking place in the SG-1 continuity.

Almost done with my rewatch of Stargate SG-1. It's still such a fun show! There's nothing quite like it in the sci-fi space.

Part of the appeal of Stargate, to me anyways, is the dual setting of "our" Earth and the wider galaxy. If the Stargate program is revealed to the world it would take the franchise one step closer to a Star Trek like setting. Although it would make for an interesting storyline for 1 season.

As for the main cast: I hope it's mostly all new. I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Carter, Jackson or Mitchell in a Hammond/Weir-like role, but the new main off-world team should be comprised of new characters.

However, there are multiple unresolved storylines that they now get a chance to tie up. Not saying that the show should be about the Wraith war or finding the Destiny, but they are among their options. Plus they have a plethora of characters that could show up as recurring/guest characters

I guess one potential new storyline is the reveal of the Stargate program to the world. Even in the years the original shows take place it made less and less sense for the SG program to stay secret. Especially with the way Atlantis ended. ...but that's another point of no return plot point.

My biggest worry about the show being a follow-up to SG-1 was always the power creep that happened in SG-1's later seasons. Earth is basically the top dog in the Milky Way now. There are ways to get around that, but it's gonna take some creative writing.

In another timeline we wouldn't have had to wait 16 years for a proper new entry in the franchise, but I'm glad it's coming back nonetheless. There's very few AAA games that match the vibe of Fable (if any).

Big day for Mr. Boop fans
