Rather surprised at the number of my age mates who have not transitioned to being the cooks for large family gatherings. Imagine my surprise when I learned people have 60+ year olds in the floor for hours making food. Why would you let that happen

I do think that's part of what heated them up. They've also usually responded to their chat by saying they'll develop their own opinion after playing it. I also think we exist on an Internet that assumes everyone has seen all the same information, so everyone assumed they knew who made the game.
