Does anyone know why a spotlight paper might be pulled from NeurIPS? Seems weird to me, don't see anyone talking about it online.

One of my favorite bits with new siri is I'll be texting a friend about a time to meetup and they'll confirm and I'll just say "can you add this to my calendar" and it'll add it to my calendar at the right time noting the person and the place and everything. It's so magical.

one of my favorite uses for the new Siri AI is just invoking Siri and asking it questions about whatever is on my screen currently

StreetComplete is awesome. I'm on the iOS Beta and it's actually super fun to walk around and do the quests.

I wish voice mode was just normal Claude Code instead of this limited slop I just want to ask it questions and hear responses in voice instead of having to read

Finally got around to building a little app with this. It's cool! Haven't sat down to get auth working yet and I suspect that'll be trouble and I think the docs are pretty confusing but I'm sure I'll figure it out. Will open PRs for improved docs once I fully wrap my head around it!

🙋‍♂️ ever wanted to build something without needing to configure a db, auth, file storage or a cms? it turns out you already have all four if you have a bluesky account 👉 airspace is a typed client for it

Decent reading list for what appears to be current meta for training frontier models

A new post-training paradigm is emerging called Multi-Teacher On-Policy Distillation (MOPD), where one model learns from multiple specialized RL teachers. Already used in models like Kimi K3 and DeepSeek-V4, we compiled some key papers tracing its developments. www.alphaxiv.org/shared/folde...

having a single-user personal project is awesome because you can just use av1 and jpegxl and you don't have to worry about people complaining that it doesn't work on their machine

For all of the people who weren’t aware of what a “glonzo” is here’s the origin of the meme. a bluesky native one surprisingly.

William B. Fuckley@opinionhaver.bsky.social

If 25% of the population believed that a creature called ‘Glonzo’ caused high power prices by chewing through transmission lines, any competent politician would be negligent in not trying to find a way to exploit this. This doesn’t mean that these people wouldn’t be fucking morons.
