Imposter syndrome isn't always feeling inadequate. Sometimes it's minimizing accomplishments, over-accommodating, fawning, hiding behind humour or making yourself smaller so others feel comfortable. Growth is recognizing your strengths without apology... to finally let yourself be accurately seen.

Many helpful life coaches guide workers into thinking like an executive, but the transition from executive leadership into retirement or frontline work is often lacking. Transitioning from an executive role to a front-line position is often challenging in its own right. medium.com/@limolnar/an...

It wasn’t the Bank of Canada who destroyed the condo market by raising interest rates. It was condo developers who destroyed their own market by forgetting what their job was: to build livable, affordable places in which people can enjoy their lives and maybe even raise families. archive.ph/pcf48

Today's threat of eminent collapse is from leaders who are “walking versions of the dark triad” – narcissism, psychopathy and Machiavellianism – in a world menaced by the climate crisis, nuclear weapons, artificial intelligence and killer robots. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

An HIV diagnosis is no longer a death sentence. Yet despite this medical progress, a curious and painful paradox remains: many people newly diagnosed with HIV today still spiral into psychological and behavioural crises—even as their physical health is preserved. medium.com/@limolnar/po...

One of the most misunderstood approaches to social work is compassionate care. Know what terms like "harm reduction", "radical acceptance", "anti-oppression" and "trauma-informed care" are, and are not? Here's a graphic to help you understand! #socialwork #harmreduction #trauma #mentalhealth

As a people manager for 4+ decades, clear & regular communication to be the most important thing in a work environment. My first immersive job was in early high school, and I believe strongly in the education, growth & independence that come through working — whether it’s paid, volunteer, or remote.

It's important for Canadians to unite in our commitment to support our nation's economy. That means buying Canadian first and European second. Watch your labels and choose a country other than the US to invest your vacation money.

In the GTA, mental health support is more critical than ever. We must prioritize accessible, affordable services for all by expanding Medicare to include mental health. The alternative is a lower quality of life, higher healthcare costs, and increased strain on our communities. #MentalHealthMatters

In Toronto, it costs up to $100,000 per person per year to support someone experiencing homelessness through emergency services and healthcare. In comparison, housing subsidies costs around $30,000 per person annually, saving money and improving lives. #HousingFirst #EndHomelessness

Ah, the glamourous days of being a business consultant! A highlight was doing a career day presentation for the kids. Who knew technical writing and accounting could be so enthralling?

People often ask me, as a small business person, why it is why I am a life-long member of the NDP @ndp.ca . Small business owners care for their community and citizens. We know their stories and share their lives. We are part of a community. The ultra-wealthy and corporations are not. That's why.

Now is not the time for the same-'ol, same-'ol. If we vote Conservative or Liberal we'll only get the same as we've always gotten: reduced services, shuttering of small businesses, employment insecurity, and abysmal infrastructure. I'll be on the front-lines, block-walking for the NDP. Vote NDP!🍊

For three years, I've been grilling Ford and his Conservatives on their personal phone records and "accidental" data wipes. Each time, they gave excuse after excuse, but I never gave up. You deserve better than a Premier who doesn't want you to know who he's talking to or what he's saying.

In the coming weeks, we have the power to change how things are in Ontario. We have the power to fight back against Trump, to turn the page on Doug Ford, and to elect a Premier who is on your side. Sign up to volunteer: ontariondp.ca/volunteer

You are up to date.
