WIP on the drawing board today. I tend to rub out the pencils as I go, as it hides some of the subtleties of the inks, and it makes it easier for me to see how the page is developing...

Conan has been the toughest book I've ever drawn, let alone written. The pressure I put on myself, having dreamed of doing this as long as I can remember, was nuts. And I still can't tell if any of it is any good! Creatives are so hard on themselves...

I've had two dream jobs this year, plus done book 2 of StarHenge, and I've had the hardest year creatively I can recall. It should have been fun, but instead I'm exhausted, and don't know if I pulled it off or if it was worth it. But I hope so. I have just 6 (of 64) pages left pages to go...

No, I do not want to update my Mac, if it means my Wacom tablet, printer, and Sonos system (amongst others) will no longer work unless the developers update their intel-based software. It's so bloody tedious.
