There's a new issue of Doctor Who Magazine in the shops right now so here's a sneak preview of my latest Daft Dimension comic strip. See the rest in Doctor Who Magazine No.635, out now!

Wishing all good things to all friends at conventions in New York and Malta this weekend! (And any other locations you might be at.) Sell lots of art and comics, have loads of laughs and live your best lives!

The most exciting opening title sequence ever. Anything could happen!

The first episode of Stingray was originally broadcast in selected ITV regions on this day in 1964. "Anything can happen in the next half hour!"

Rob Reed and Claire Bend, the filmmakers behind the Oink! documentary have set up a crowdfunder to expand the film with more footage for future screenings. It's not often we get films about humour comics in this country so here's the link if you wish to support it... www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/oink

As I overprinted on this issue I still have loads of copies of Combat Colin No.3 left. Collects the stories that originally appeared in Marvel UK's TRANSFORMERS comics Nos.226 to 256 in 1989/90. 40 pages (36 interior black and white pages plus full colour covers). ko-fi.com/s/e794cb5a3f

Doctor Who Magazine No.633 hits the shops this Thursday (August 20th) and amongst its 84 pages of interviews, news, features and strips will be another Daft Dimension comic strip from me.

The strip that inspired me as a kid. THE COLLECTED CLOAK is available to order now from your nearest comic shop! All of Mike Higgs' brilliant 1960s Cloak strips in one big hardback, plus extras. Over 230 pages. Give your comic shop the code AUG262180 so they'll know to order it.

New from Rebellion, a hardback collection of Trelawny of the Guards, reprinting the series from 1966. I don't usually go for war stories but the art by the great Victor de la Fuente is something else!

Here's where you'll find me at comic conventions over the next couple of months: COMICS ASSEMBLE Saturday August 15th, GL1 Leisure Centre, Gloucester. HI VIZ COMIC CON Saturday 19th September, All Saints Community Centre, Kings Heath (near Birmingham).

I've just bought this book, Drawn to Extinction by @petetrainor.fyi that sounds like an essential read on how AI can, and already is, endangering the comics industry. Includes interviews with creators such as John Wagner, Ram V, Patrick Goddard and more. Support human creativity!
