My first 5 TTRPGs (though this is hazy): 1. Something like AD&D that my brother ran on the fly using only the Monster Manuals (we didn't have the PHB or DMG) 2. AD&D Second Edition 3. Robotech 4. Marvel Super Heroes (TSR) 5. Rifts

There's this weird phenomenon where at some point it became unthinkable to say anything bad about Beyonce, who suddenly was one of the most important and unassailable artists of our time or whatever. Part of a larger shift where selling out went from being bad to very good, so I find this very funny

After a trio to Los Angeles one time we were riding back to the airport on a bus and the bus driver was giving an informal audio tour. At one point he said "this is where Beyonce park her plane. She need her own runway cause Beyonce don't like sharin nothin with nobody."

I mean, most people have never thought this way about pop music, but even people who I'd expect to be more cynical about her whole deal acted like not being impressed with Beyonce meant you were a terrible person. If you like the message, fine, but "Single Ladies" is an incredibly annoying song imo
