The Cape Cod Baseball League is drying up. The new college baseball landscape is killing one of the purest forms of baseball this country has ever had to offer. Over 100 years of tradition, ravaged by dollars and cents. What now? Is there a way forward?

I have the most stupid-ass grin on my face right now. #goms #matilda #mariners

The blatant corruption…we’ve finally made it as a football country

And this articulates so well why I am flying the US flag, and celebrating our country's 250 years tomorrow. Even while I feel so much sorrow. Full text of Mamdani's address today: www.nyc.gov/mayors-offic...

That time when I brought a stack of paper, painter's tape, and sharpies to our local bush league ballgame because we never had a functioning scoreboard... #baseball #fandom

*Finally* got to my first @oaklandballers.bsky.social game last night for my birthday. What an amazing community and fantastic baseball experience! And that was *before* the birthday greetings and scorebook autograph from Scrappy :) youtube.com/shorts/HdraX...

BASEBALL!!!

I was so excited when it was first announced early this year that the Mexican winter ball league was going to have a team playing in the US. I was even hoping to squeeze in a visit to Tucson. But then there were visa issues... So, next year, maybe?

if our brains weren’t always being cooked by the horrors of real life this place could be Actually Fun and it’s so nice to get a glimpse of what happens when it is even if you don’t like baseball this shit was fun, right? everyone getting swept up in the same thing? I missed this

Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states. Remember them the next time you’re inclined to write an area off because “they voted for this.”

I noticed the scripture reference on Bryce Miller's cap at yesterday's game. Isaiah 6:8. I looked it up. Obviously I cannot know just why he chose this, but it sure made this Mariners fan smile. #Mariners #GOMS #OneMore

MARINERS!!! I wasn't sure anyone would survive that. Including me.

Suck it Bellinger, suck it Yankees!
