This new tool head drastically improved cooling!!! I posted a design *like* this before, but it took several iterations to really dial it in.

I'm really really proud of this BOM optimization down to 10 screws, look how many screws do double duty or 5x duty :) How many printers do you know that use 10 screws!

🍋 Rev D is OUT! 🍋 This is the cleanest update yet! And once again it's backwards compatible, meaning all the 3d printed parts fit together in the same way. New bracket, new heat set insert geometry, eliminated screws, and lots of DFM! Read changelog 👉 www.printables.com/model/115552...

Bambu's firmware shenanigans are making me rethink ever recommending one again. They have to backtrack on it, or lose the goodwill of the 3DP community that is "open source but willing to give on value sometimes", which is not an insignificant sector.

Found a BOM issue. The BOM lists 4.5mm heat set inserts but the ones that fit are 5mm. Beware!! You may have to reorder the correct inserts! Sorry guys!

The Lemontron has now received its first update since the initial release! TLDR, enhanced compatibility with LOP series of PSU, user-configurable 3DP teardrop angle, small changes to improve DFM, and some fixes. This breakout board is part of the Lemontron and was just created by Sample Name and it is awesome. It really makes the tool head much easier to wire. In the video I had v1 but this v1.1 is even better.

Man, I didn't even know we had this feature. Name another 3D Printer that can do... well, THAT. shout-out to the Lemontron guys for finding this lol

tfw you finish building a 3D printer and can FINAALLY clean off your workspace…but you realize you’re also a youtuber and now your computer desktop is riddled with video assets too

Wanna see something funny? Did you know that NO bearings even leave contact with the rail until the carriage is literally sticking out? So theres an extra 5mm you get for free, you just have to make a little space for it. You never know, that extra 5mm could make the difference one day!

You are up to date.
