The dogs ❤️🍁🍂 #nature #photography

Love meandering around old cemeteries and looking up histories. This man was a captain for the Confederacy, lived to be 83, and died still holding the position of postmaster for his community, a position he held for 36 years.

Spotted this ghostly outline of a former building in Harpers ferry. Pretty neat! #photography

Was out in Harpers Ferry today, holy moly was it ever busy! Happy to be back in my holler! #photography #westvirginia

Lots of people know about the butterfly effect. More people ought to consider their actions on said butterfly.

I found a wild cockroach. It seemed fairly intelligent. Reading about them I found they are closely related to termites and that they have parental instincts raising their young in large galleries with other cockroaches

I like thinking of trees as being similar to humans, and that from a 4th dimensional view we may look something like this, with each branch representing different choices in our life, and the subsequent branches as the choices stemming from them. Some abruptly dying, others reaching to the sky.

I do insurance as my day job and moonlight as a seed salesman to find fulfillment in my work. The insurance industry makes me feel 🫪 and that makes me want to start a union for the others working in the industry.

I feel at peace among the trees ❤️ #nature #photography #trees #fall

I'm also really liking the sound of Strawberry Rhinestone by Two Runner lately, this duo is incredibly talented. I hope they find a bigger audience! youtu.be/nBmkRTWkVYI?...

Liminal - The Crop is such a good song, nice job guys. youtu.be/iZZaYkOG1Zk?...

I wonder about the cumulative ecological toll of "bug zappers" each year. Just another of the many compounding pressures on wildlife, alongside vehicle strikes and habitat loss. So many headwinds, and so little time.

I wish to advance the wasp agenda.

Our friend, the milkweed leaf beetle. 😁 #nature #photography

Seasons coming to an end around here! The asters and goldenrods are a lifeline for our bee friends this time of year

Spreading Milkweed with my oldest ❤️

Cleaning the fluff of Milkweed seeds is satisfying but messy work

Just doing it's beetle thing 💛 #nature #photography #flowers

I like EXTRA pulp. I drink extra for the nonpulpers.

Behold, the milkweed bug

It's that time of the year again! We will have our fresh harvest ready for sale soon 😁

We cannot simultaneously accelerate global warming and then act surprised when the natural ranges of species begin to change. It seems a foregone conclusion.

We are looking for an indigenous artist in the southwest to design the label for our Southwest Wildflower Seed Mix, if anybody knows of someone who might be interested please let us know ☺️

Fleeting beauty, ever-changing, until at last, they are laid bare. #nature #photography #trees

A bloom for your Thursday ❤️ #nature #photography #bloomscrolling

Relics of a bygone era #photography

Devastating news regarding the destruction of the Grandmother Cottonwood. There is no curse in Elvish, Entish, or the tongues of Men sufficient for this treachery. I hope everybody involved occasionally wakes in a cold sweat with the realization of what they’ve done.

Another bloom from the garden 🩷

The fall colors are upon us! 🥰 #fall #nature #photography #trees

A beautiful bloom from the LeafCrafters garden 🩷

I'm in store for a foggy morning drive ❤️

Mind the gap! #nature #photography

Had a great time at a native seed workshop put on by headwaters native plants here in WV! I was able to make a good connection and I hope to be able to partner up with them soon!

Misty fall woods ❤️
