First time using Linux Mint after life on Windows, just off a USB stick, and I'm genuinely in shock at how ridiculously fast it is just browsing the web and doing random tasks. I might actually install it for day to day stuff

Screw CANZUK. I'm all in on CANZEU let's go www.abc.net.au/news/2026-09...

This is like 2016 all over again

In hindsight it was definitely better the 14 juillet fireworks were on the 13th. Could you imagine losing to Spain and immediately having the Eiffel Tower being lit up in fireworks and drone displays right after

As someone trying to catch up on a bunch of world cup matches that's more than just highlights but not the whole game, SBS's 30 minute mini matches are elite 👏🏽

There it is, clear as day. Croatia absolutely robbed. This world cup is rigged inside.fifa.com/innovation/i...

Muse's new album is literally the best thing they've put out in 20 years I'm in awe

If they're this trigger happy handing out yellow and red cards 2 days in, Argentina won't have a team at all by their 3rd game

Nothing illustrates my disdain for Windows 11 than when I open the Clock app to set a timer only to be blocked by an unavoidable update. Yes Microsoft, I'm sure this update to the clock will introduce important features that were definitely missing before

This #Tiafoe #Arnaldi match is easily gonna go to 5 sets if neither of them fades. Very evenly matched #RolandGarros

The referee on this Kouame v Vallejo match has the eyes of an absolute hawk damn

It's ridiculous watching Roland Garros on TV with probably 70% of the stadium empty, yet when I look online to buy tickets it's apparently all sold out

Franchement c'est fou que Kouamé n'ait que 17 ans !

Thunderbird needs a lot of tweaking after install but once it's set up... I can't see myself using a different email client. Got it personalised exactly to what I want and it's so good

Is this the highest scoring/closest semi final ever? #psg

Sabastian Sawe even beat Kipchoge's non-eligible sub-2 hour time, even with all the pacers and drafting etc, by 10 seconds. Insanity

Can you imagine being Jacob Kiplimo and running a world record marathon time, and still ending up 3rd 😅

Oh shit 😳 sub-2 hour marathon officially broken. Twice!!!

Absolutely loving how many incredible shots of Australia we have gotten on this mission, even the livestream #ArtemisII

Just watching a live feed of the Earthset from the other side of the moon #ArtemisII

Even the Astronauts on Artemis II are sick of Mission Control telling them things in miles instead of metric 😂 406,771.4km away at their furthest poin

The astronauts of Artemis II are closer to the moon than 2/3rds of the Earth's diameter right now... insane

Seeing the craters of the dark side of the moon live is absolutely breathtaking

I hate how in 2026 when I discover a new artist I like on Spotify, I have to do a deep dive to see if they're real and not AI. Selected. is pushing these fake AI songs by AI "artists" like Small Town Kid and it's broken my trust. If you call them out on their Instagram they just delete it.

Watching Grégoire's Vélib peloton through the streets of Paris is the funniest thing I've ever seen 😂 I love this city

Dati est daté 😂

Watching the Paralympic women's standing sprint and damn... there's not much snow left around at all 😬 Looks like they took whatever they had around to build the track, and even then it's on the slushy side

I think the most shocking thing I learned about this podcast was that many UK schools don't have libraries. Wtaf? pca.st/episode/70ca...

NSW Premier Chris Minns is now blocking accounts on Instagram who disagree with him and his defense of police brutality on everyday Australians. We are the electorate. Is this even legal? @chrisminnsmp.bsky.social you absolute coward

I'm in the Telegraph talking about why I left London! www.telegraph.co.uk/money/consum...

The live drone shots during the downhill skiing are INSANE. Combined with the noise it's like watching formula 1

That is an incredibly cool Olympic Caludron. Well done

The Italian hand gestures are taking me out 🤣 #winterolympics

Seeing the Americans on screen with their faschy flag plastered across the front of their outfits made me gag 🤢 #winterolympics

The name bearers outfits look like they're cosplaying sandstorms from Dune #winterolympics #milanocortina

It's wild seeing the athletes being in 4 different locations all across northern Italy

Did they just do bullet time during the France v Japan hockey match? #WinterOlympics

How DARE YOU

Got to write all about my favourite topic on The Telegraph 😅 www.telegraph.co.uk/money/consum...

This is the worst sentence I have ever read

Claude Sonnet 4.5 is considerably worse than when it came out months ago. New models are always really good at first and then they slowly slip into the traps of glazing and sycophancy, and saying they will do things (like research on the internet) and proceed not to do them. Why is this?

The power of Eurovision is not to be underestimated 🔥 Let's do this!! www.timeout.com/australia/ne...

I've been thinking about this for years. The world is becoming ever more centralised in cities, as is power, culture and people's identities along with it www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

I just spent 45 minutes trying to edit a very basic 3 clip video together on Tiktok. Why did it take so long? Because the app just couldn't stop crashing. I don't know how anybody tolerates this

Great, now the Signal war plans chat guy is up spouting propaganda.

Watching the current RAM/PC part crisis makes me SO glad I did my RAM upgrade back in April, and went overkill on my build back in 2022. With 64GB of RAM now, got no need to upgrade and I can avoid this whole thing entirely

It's very disturbing to me seeing the videos of people right up close to the people trying escape the Crans Montana fire. People deciding to film for social media and watch people die instead of trying to save their lives.

Can the Brits keep their British values of trashing parks, never picking up after themselves and pissing in neighbours yards in their own country please? Thanks

hahahahahahahahahahaha. ahahahhaha www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

"The premier said the state government would also consider measures to restrict protest activity in the wake of terror threats." - truly disgusting that Premier @chrisminnsmp.bsky.social would try to sneak in legislation to silence protests in the wake of this tragedy www.abc.net.au/news/2025-12...
