Hard for me to say, but I think the Great British Menu has to die. The theatrics are increasingly tortured and tenuous and a lot of the cooking is truly frightening. Frankly, the way things seem to be heading, they should ask Sally Abé to cook the entire event, then can the whole wretched fiasco.

I mean this very kindly, but the food served in the Northern Irish heat of Great British Menu has, consistently, been the worst I have ever seen presented. All credit due: they were lovely people and worked so hard, but it was abysmal. They should just have ruled the region out of the competition.
