These traffic jams… Got me a seven minute delay D:

Phew, just completed my first round of Offenburg - Strasbourg on this slightly rainy Sunday. It’s a bit „less worse“ than yesterday. First train from Strasbourg to Offenburg of course completely overcrowded again, I left behind: - Around 10 people in Kehl - 2 cyclists and 4 people in Kork

Started with some golf training at home today, since I’m a bit sick and should stay at home, then I thought I could make this whole thing a bit more „pawsome“ 😅🐾 ( No, I don’t wear them when actually playing or training on a course xD )

Good evening from Bad Griesbach! It’s been almost two months since I’ve been here, the route was closed for one and a half months for track renewal and renovation and various other works along the tracks. First time for me driving here since it’s open again ~

Doing a chill German service today, the Horn(y)berg Shuttle ~ Though my first train from Offenburg to Hornberg had a delay of 20 minutes due to infrastructure problems in Offenburg… But now back on time and after this service I got a free weekend :3

Now refueling my train in the depot, then a break, then another two rounds to Strasbourg and back ~

While my first ride from Offenburg to Strasbourg was chill, the first ride back to Offenburg was hell, full to the ultimate limit, I left behind: - 4 people and 2 cyclists in Strasbourg - Around 20 people and 6 cyclists in Kehl - 3 people and 1 cyclist in Kork Full to the brim…

After doing a couple German services I’m back on the Offenburg - Strasbourg line, with the old tiny diesel units. First train to Strasbourg was quite full, but not crazy full, just plenty of people standing, nobody left behind, AC is working in both units :)

Finished my three rounds with the Régiolis, for my last two rounds I do now have the other train set with 3 old diesel, triple vroom vroom. Then two days of German services ahead. Just had someone complaining to me again because there is no toilet in the train, all I could do: 🤷🏻‍♂️

Mixed service today ~ First refueled two of three of the old diesel units and brought them to the platform for my colleague, now preparing a Mireo to drive two rounds of Offenburg - Kehl

Some night vibes ~ Being one of the very last trains again ^^ Let’s get the last passengers of the day to their destinations

On the line to Strasbourg again ~ And I’m so happy to have the Régiolis, my first train from Offenburg to Strasbourg was full to the brim, almost had to leave people behind with the Régiolis! With only two tiny diesel I would have left people behind. So many people traveling into the weekend ~

I‘m back on the Offenburg - Strasbourg line and guess what we got today :3 We got one Régiolis today and we’ll have one until August 31 ~ And they now say in October the old diesel trains will finally get replaced by Régiolis completely, that is apparently safe. We‘ll see ~

Doing the Horn(y)berg Shuttle today x3 A nice change after the past days on the Offenburg - Strasbourg line and much more fun to post nice photos from the mountains and Black Forest instead of constantly posting about all the problems on the Offenburg- Strasbourg line ~

Oh boy here we go, my first ride from Strasbourg to Offenburg… - 30 people and 4 cyclists left behind in Strasbourg - 3 people in Krimmeri - 40 people and 6 cyclists in Kehl - 3 people in Kork - 2 people and 1 cyclist in Legelshurst In Kehl I needed police to clear the doors.

And here I am, doing my last service with it before they take it away from us again tomorrow ~ But it will be returned tomorrow noon, so in the morning tomorrow there will still be a couple services provided with it :)

Oh, rare sight, other trains on this route than ours ^^

Modern passenger information systems… Big advantage: via Internet they can of course access live information and you have the train information updated daily. Disadvantage: if the internet connection fails, it’s just not working at all and I have to do all information via microphone. Blank screens.

After enjoying two days off I’m back at work ~ Doing the Horn(y)berg Shuttle today :)

And another German service today x3 Last one, then two days off, really need them 🥵 It’s been 8 days of work with only one free day ( 3 days work, one day off, 5 days of work ). Looking forward to relax after this service x3

At work again, today a German service though :) Actually I have no Strasbourg services in the next seven days ^^

And I’m back on the Offenburg - Strasbourg line, but only for today. It’s quite warm, 32 degrees Celsius, but to my surprise the AC in both units is working really well, it’s actually blowing cold air :0 So it’s actually somewhat comfortable inside ^^ Got everyone with me so far ~

And here we go again ~ Tomorrow one day off though :) First train from Offenburg to Strasbourg was full to the brim again, in Appenweier I had to wait almost 3 minutes until all remaining people squeezed in and bicycles, so many bicycles… It’s always unbelievable how much you can squeeze in, Tetris.
