Victorian London (use you imagination!) is getting some buildings. I implemented two ways to see through buildings. Peek behind them with the mouse cursor, or walk behind them. Each way will provide different information when playing. What do you think of the fade? #gamedev #indiegame #godot

For example, peeking with the mouse cursor won't let you see enemies if you don't also have line of sight. But that way you will be able to see the grid and don't have to blindly click to move behind the building. I think it's quite nifty.

"What is this?", you ask. "A vampire in Victorian era London?" Yes, you are correct, good sir! How sharp you are. Inspired by games like Advance Wars and Into The Breach, but with a focus on exploration and some lighter narrative, rather than puzzle solving and combat. #gamedev #indiegame #godot

From The War of the Worlds: ”He met a wagoner and tried to make him understand, but the tale he told and his appearance were so wild—his hat had fallen off in the pit—that the man simply drove on.” I wouldn’t trust a man without his hat either. Get it together, man!

Game jam code, or as I prefer to call it: a bowl of spaghetti barely held together by glue and duct tape. There’s a reason one shouldn’t keep building on game jams without doing a hard reboot of the codebase…

Friday, 4:30 PM. Janitors and disco guys from the IT department want stuff from us. Let's distract them with jamming printers, watercoolers and piles of garbage! #gamedev #godot #indiegame #gamejam

Updated to Godot 4.7 and immediately tried the new virtual joystick. I love how Godot lets me convert games to mobile without having to change pretty much anything. This isn’t a meant to be a mobile game. But perhaps it will be now? #godot #indiegame #gamedev

Gamer incels saying the new Gods of War game is unplayable because they dont find the new female PC attractive are strongly implying they only liked the previous editions of the game because they DID find Kratos's dad bod attractive. So happy pride month, queens!

Gnome Home is a cozy, restoration-focused narrative game being developed by me and my classmates at Birka Folkhögskola. Development has been underway for a little over three months, and we have about three weeks left before our deadline. #indiegame #gamedev

Pokémon Let’s Go is probably the worst couch co-op experience I’ve had. As the non-primary player I can’t do anything. My only interaction with the game is to run and throw pokéballs in battle. That’s it. Utterly pointless. #pokemon #pokemonletsgo

Court of Death has made significant progress since its inception in late December. Not only do we now have properly illustrated and formatted cards for playtesting, but we have also expanded from a one-man show into a small team. Let’s introduce the crew! #indiegame #gamedev #CourtOfDeath

Finally, there’s me. I handle the game design, card layout, project management, and all that fun stuff. I’ve developed a few TTRPGs and board games in the past and am currently studying video game development. Court of Death is my first foray into card games.

The first batch of test-prints are here! Looking forward to do some more serious play-testing now that I don’t have to use a regular deck of cards or a printed version. A very early digital version might be in the works as well… 🙄 #indiegame #gamedev

I started a small weekend project while the last of the flu disappears. Let me introduce the first prototype of my Desktop Tamagotchi. It can be hungry, sleepy, needy and bored. But right now sleep is all it can do. Planning to add feeding, petting and some playing as well. #indiegame #gamedev
