FAFO idiot.
so priceless that prolific ratfucker James O'Keefe, by going undercover to prove how easy it is to commit voter fraud.... ends up proving how hard it is to commit voter fraud, and then catches charges for unlawful voting chef's kiss, stellar work all around www.startribune.com/conservative...
The point is to force the Republicans to vote against it: to sign their names to allowing corruption and treason you thick fucks!
Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…
Buyouts should be cash only. If you don't have the dosh on hand, you can't buy shit. Just like us poors have to do.
Maxis fucking prints money. They do it cheap and they crank out packs and updates on the regular, and Sims fans devour them. They are the proverbial cash cow. So why lay those people off when you're trying to cover an $18 billion buyout debt? This is why leveraged buyouts should be illegal.
If anyone is interested, this company has answered the question: What if Steven Universe was in the Yakuza games? www.bigbadtoystore.com/product/new-...
It's sad that these fuckers can't even give their stupid character a name. Petra Parker was jacked from an episode of Ultimate Spider-Man, and it is still infinitely more creative that incel-slur Malfoy got.
Predictably, Shad's Malfoid obsession has driven the only traffic his channel has gotten since our initial back and forth right back into the ground. Stay down there. Good boy.
King and Malcom X were working together you credulous boob. The velvet glove means nothing without the iron fist inside it.
Martin Luther King was much more successful than Malcolm X for example. Before that, there was no need for a bloody civil war in most countries that abolished slavery. Just votes. Independence can also be bloodless. Gandhi in India, Walesa in Poland, Mandela in South Africa. The list is long.
Counter argument: AI doesn't use or have evidence, structure, argument, or accountability. Its predictive text using the stolen work of thousands as it's dictionary.
Opinion: If AI is now part of academic writing, what should institutions actually evaluate? This essay argues that analytical writing should be judged by evidence, structure, argument, and accountability not by guesses about how each sentence was produced. https://chroni.cl/4eDRdjg
So by this AG's logic, the next time she gets a speeding ticket, one of her constituents will be allowed to ram her with their car. Gotcha.
JUST IN: The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office said on Monday. Her office will not charge the white officer who shot the child.
This right here is the exact difference between David Weber and Larry Correia.
There can be and is successful right-leaning entertainment (see most of CBS' primetime dramas, the Taylor Sheridan Paramount Plus empire, plus, you know, mainstream country music); where the right flops is when it thinks its grievance culture will sell outside of its very tight MAGA bubble.
If you believe the interior of the Tesla Roadster was any less than 80% pressure tank to make that 'demonstration' happen, you need Jesus. Specifically, you need Jesus to flip your computer table and chase you with a whip into remedial education until such time as you cease being a credulous fuckwit

Adding to this- it's industry standard to film/record and not know the project's real title, and often actors are only given their sides- not a whole script- to shoot with. It's really easy to trick a performer into doing something they would object to and them only find out at the premiere.
It's such a daft standard in acting that performers are expected to be kept so in the dark about what they're working on. It should not be so unheard of that actors actually know who they're working with and what they're working on. You're having them sign an NDA regardless, so.
This seems so weird to me, because these 'masculine' books are EXCEPTIONALLY easy to find, unless you exclusively read YA fantasy. These guys tell on themselves so hard.
Eagle-eyed readers might note the almost total lack of hyperlinked evidence for this paragraph's many sweeping generalizations. Among them, that young readers want TOUGH GUY cultural objects that are cruelly being denied them by all these meddlesome women, when, in fact...
Always love the cycle of the Youngs discovering that Nic Cage, father of Kal-El Cage, might be a massive fucking nerd.
Since we’re talking Nic Cage knowing ball on here now I have to bring over the interview clipping I posted on Twitter forever ago from the September 1996 issue of Playboy where he talks about Urotsukidoji
A true AI would rely on us knowing how our own brains work in order to replicate them. Which we don't. Like, at all.
I cannot say definitively that we'll never develop artificial intelligence. I strongly doubt it, based on the limits of technology and our understanding of consciousness. But I can say absolutely that an LLM will never be conscious or feel pain. It's a glorified Magic Eight Ball. That's all.
A big part of it is that Ossoff is from Atlanta. His base are the black and LGBTQ+ populations that MAGAs have been shitting on for 15 years, and he knows it. Why would he ever couch against the people who elected him?
Figuring out why Ossoff is so effective is an interesting task. I think he's mastering a kind of stern dignity that is uniquely compelling in contrast to the clownish cruelty of the other side. I think the other person who's kind of hit on the same thing is AOC, though in a different register

Love Vampyr. The reward you get for being merciful throughout the game is legitimately my favorite of all time.
Vampyr, because I will always stan Dontnod's ambitious vampire game, is it flawed? Sure. But there's nothing quite like it, the maudlin atmosphere, the melodrama, Anthony Howell's goated vocal performance as the protagonist, it's magnificent.
Someone is gonna find where all these are being stored, and the Ocean's 11 style heist that will commence will make a great film.
Put into perspective, that would mean the total value of all the "AI" GPUs sitting in storage and likely never to be used to is almost three times as much revenue as Nvidia earned between 2010 and 2020 (around $70 billion). Y'know. Back when we could still afford a gaming card to play Skyrim.
The ultimate of this being, of course, KochiKame, a series with an actual title so long it makes the stupid-ass light novel titles look quaint. (No I don't know it. I'll be fucked if I'm copy-pasting a paragraph of romaji to make a point.)
(not a dunk) even Japanese people don't usually use the full Japanese titles for series. who calls Konosuba "kono subarashii sekai ni shukufuku wo"? or, for some shorter, oldschool examples: Fushigi Yuugi = fushiyu Ayashi no Ceres = AyaCere Kodomo no Omocha = Kodocha
I fully believe this, which just makes Newsom look even dumber. There is ZERO chance Paramount was going anywhere; there's nowhere for them to go. Moving would cost them billions and they're already broke as hell.
Did Bonta get ANYTHING from Ellison? Because the 30-films-a-year deal that is being reported has been promised for months, and the "editorial board" overseeing CBS and CNN means nothing without teeth. To me it sounds like Ellison threatened to move Paramount out of CA, and Bonta and Newsom folded.
The warrior ethos is especially useless in modern warfare, as most combat is done through tactical screens from 50 miles away. If I can kill you with a drone, how fast you can run doesnt fucking matter.
“the warrior ethos glamorizes the prowess of the individual warrior in a way that starkly contradicts the professional, ethical, and organizational nature of military service and modern warfare.” @briankerg.bsky.social
I understand that Wolverine is a complex, storied character. But in a videogame context, why is 'fist-knife murder gremlin' so hard for studios to get right?
Wolverine is basically "what if we took out all the fun exploration and mobility from Spider-Man and it was JUST the flashback and Mary Jane sequences?"
Besides the fanfic, Yudkowsky's only contributions to anything are his forum inventing Roko's Basilisk, the stupidest thought experiment ever conceived, and a bunch of his dipshit followers starting a boat cult that killed some people. He's not a serious person
I had a thread about @sanders.senate.gov & Max Tegmark before seeing this one. Yudkowsky is an even more overt eugenicist, you don't have to do any digging to see that. He also has ZERO expertise in "AI" except for being a self described "genius" cult leader who wrote a Harry Potter fanfic.
Louisiana would belong to the animals now. It's only inhabitants would be stubborn pockets of Cajuns who hunt the hippos with .50 cals.
the United States once came perilously close to passing a bill to import hippos to the Missisippi Delta in order to farm them as domestic meat animals, which would have been among the dumbest ideas in history
The level the PS6 is going to fail at is going to hit Crash of '83 numbers, and I am here. For. It.
Sony says "reasonable consumers" know they don’t own the digital PlayStation games they buy. It argues that it's "not plausible" to suggest that when they buy a digital game they actually believe they're "obtaining ownership" of it. www.videogameschronicle.com/news/sony-sa...
