I love knowing @bitwig.bsky.social so well that most of the time when I see a plugin that does X or Y I realize I can build it in Bitwig. Like this plugin that split into 2 frequency bands & then used ADSR envelopes for each one. So I just did it with the spectral freq split device & an ADSR mod

someone mentioned the tours thing again in mine, and it's wanting to work earlier to have less traffic. so the first asshole was literally throwing us late people under the bus for selfish reasons lol. He wants to trade later tours for more earlier ones vs make the ones they have now earlier again

that getting out of bed thing. they wake up with a migraine, pop a pill, and it knocks them out for several hours. it's allegedly the only medication that works for them. so instead of waking up early in case it's one of those days, they use FMLA time & are just not here or miss most of the day

+know that you have issues getting out of bed due to medication you sometimes have to take, don't work a tour with extra pay. The company is getting very little from you since you're off all the time. I'd work the late shift without extra pay. it works for me better than any other.

there's always been an expectation that you make the night tour differential worth it to the company. When people don't the shifts often get removed. One guy tried to take a night tour before going out on disability, if that tells you the mindset of some of the people I work with 🙃

seems I can use/abuse Note FX Devices in @bitwig.bsky.social to more or less do the same sort of articulation changes for orchestral libraries like Cubase, Studio One, REAPER, etc can do Maybe not as elegant, but I CAN do it.
