As bsky has become my new aviation hangout site, I thought it was about time to introduce myself. I'm British born, grew up in NZ, but have lived in the US for 20 years. Trained as a pilot, but have been in tech for a long time. Expect lots of aviation content from me as I post about my travels.

First of 3 days of college visits. I'm crazy, so we're doing 7 flights to visit 3 universities in MA, PA and MD. Last night wasn't off to a great start with back to back delays on BNA-DTW-BDL. Landed in BDL at 2 am and now we're driving to down Amherst, MA and back before flying BDL-DTW-PIT later.

Finally on my way to FLL. Landing around 1 am and then a Lyft to my hotel 40 mins away. The early meetings aren't going to be that fun.

So, as expected I missed my connection and got rebooked. My rebooked flight just returned to the gate with a maintenance problem, so now we're waiting on a new plane.

Ok, well now I've got 23 mins to connect. Maybe I'll get the Delta Porsche *wishful thinking* #delayed #avgeek

2 nights at home and back in the air. My flight is delayed so I've currently got a 35 min connect time in Atlanta, have to change concourses and naturally my gates are a long way down both concourses...I don't think this is going to go well. #roadwarrior #avgeek

The old Concourse A at BNA is official in the history books. The new Concourse, due to be completed by July of 2028 will be a 16 gate facility and will hopefully have some additional lounge space (looking at you, United). Post completion, Nashville will have 70 gates. #nashville #avgeek
