I want to say thank you so much for your support. Our campaign was as successful as it was because of you and your contributions: volunteering your time, making a donation, or casting your vote. I am so encouraged that thousands of us share a vision for a better future with better leadership.

I am not done — I will keep standing up for our community, as I have for years, so everyone can find a home that they can afford, so we can all move around safely and quickly, and so that all of us can see a better future for ourselves here.

In the meantime, it is vital you stay vocal on the issues that matter to you and that we all keep connected to one another — organized, engaged residents are essential to holding elected officials accountable and guiding them towards the right decisions.

Election Day is here, and it's almost time to vote! Polls are open today from 10 am to 8 pm, and all you need is a piece of ID that shows your name and address. Didn't receive a voter card? No problem! You can find out where to go at KevinR.ca/Vote and bring that ID - you can still vote!

On the data centre expansion in Scarborough Southwest, here are 3 things the current councillor doesn't want you to know about how he dropped the ball:

This data centre expansion will have a big impact on our community, and we're all left with more questions than answers. Why did this get missed? The good news is there’s still a small window to act, and that's what I'm committed to doing.

On the data centre expansion in Scarborough Southwest, here are 3 things the current councillor doesn't want you to know about how he dropped the ball:

“It was very clear that the councillor and his team were uninformed about what’s going on,” [Rupasinghe] said. https://www.thestar.com/gift-redeem?t=d4cfdc0b-7ecb-47a1-99ec-176244774822 Our current councillor had 3 years in office to get involved in the STACK data centre project and he didn't.

He wasn't asking questions, he wasn't looking into it, he wasn't paying attention. It's a councillor's job to know what's happening in their ward and to involve the community in conversation. We cannot count on this councillor to be our voice at the table —

I've been out across Scarborough Southwest, talking to residents, business owners, teachers and students about the kind of community we are and can be. This election is about making a choice: let's go forward, into the future together. Let's choose character and integrity.

🧹Remember this broom? Now it’s sweeping up Scarborough Southwest. Huge thanks to Former Mayor David Miller for your support! Scarborough Southwest can change the balance of power at City Hall, and it's time for a new generation to lead us forward.

Scarborough Southwest is a toss-up, and we cannot win without YOU. Join us on Friday or Saturday: www.KevinR.ca/FinalPush This is a two-way race that may come down to only 100 votes. We need YOUR help to drop flyers or make phone calls (from home or our office).

A few facts to learn more about me. I’m here to work hard to be a councillor you can count on — for a change. For more info: KevinR.ca/FAQ

It's been amazing few days: a great crew came out to volunteer today & take advantage of the beautiful fall weather; we had a good time canvassing outside Corvette Junior Public School the other day - talking to parents, students, & staff about the issues on the minds of families in our community...

Thank you to @kristynwongtam.bsky.social for the support! I'm grateful to have the endorsement of Kristyn who has worked tirelessly for the constituents of Toronto Centre, first as their City Councillor and now as their New Democrat MPP.

Thanks @torontorabit.bsky.social. This is an issue I've believed in for a long time - and that I've spoken about before! I was in @tvodocs.bsky.social UNRIGGED episode about better ballots: www.tvo.org/video/docume...

And I've written two OpEds in the Toronto Star about it as well: www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...

Scarborough Southwest deserves a councillor who can work proactively to bring better transit to our communities. That means things like making sure the Eglinton Crosstown and Scarborough East LRT are one continuous line, not two, and that transit priority is there from day one.
