Updated @firefox.com and saw it's new theme. AAARGH why everything is super rounded 🙃 I think it will take time to get used to But hey I like the ability to customise the browser icon

I'm amazed that these days I can use web browser (Canva) to edit video/audio. I remember back in my uni days, the default video editing tool was (pirated) Adobe Premiere

I learned that Temporal.ZonedDateTime.since and Temporal.ZonedDateTime.until is yet another API that could be confusing to newbies It could throw RangeError if the two compared instance are in different time zone and the requested largest unit is days and larger

It makes sense, since day/week/month/year/etc is a calendar unit and the length could differ depending on the time zone and calendar system too

Done and shipped. Wheee~~~ I ran out of my monthly copilot token halfway after I asked it to review several times; so I did the rest manually and with yolo mindset >.<

Replacing Luxon with Temporal. So far it maps quite well, although Temporal's compare() method is something I keep reading again and again

Putting my JLPT cert into use 🤣 Still took quite a long time for me to finish since I keep looking up the technical terms. Pretty good read indeed 👏

I wrote an article about difference between `iso8601` and `gregory` calendars in ECMAScript (in Japanese). I'm planning to translate it into English someday.

For me, I started learning Japanese ~3 years ago, and learned it using the usual method ("Tae Kim grammar guide" is my first guide I read), and when someone recommended this, it has been a big eye-opener on how to naturally construct a Japanese sentence. Highly recommend to try this out :)

Learning something completely new is always a humbling experience. That feeling of 'ugh I'm so bad at this' keep creeping up, but I know that eventually I'll get used to it and get better

Today I'm the lucky 10,000 to learn about this too

TIL on Firefox Android, if I double tap, but hold the second tap, then I drag my finger down and up to zoom on that particular point. No idea if this is standard across all browsers, only just discovered it this weekend by accident.

TIL most BBC Radio stations will stop its service to listeners outside the UK soon. I started listening back in 2011 and their programs were really good, both R1 (pop music) and R3 (classical music), and has helped my English comprehension tremendously www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/help/...
