More items will be added to the store page soon while I continue work on the SHATTERED TOMORROWS graphic novel and Lara-Su App. In the meantime, all paid orders are generally shipped within 24 hours with a tracking number provided.

Bernie & I want to express our gratitude and thanks to our hosts Krystal & Nathan for the excellent weekend in Fort Lauderdale as we head home to Los Angeles. They’re putting together a documentary about Sonic, SatAM, the games, the fans and creators such as yours truly.

2/ They were at the Emerald Rush Market shooting footage of the various activities as well as fan interaction with me. The Mobian Adventure Series proved to be a big success, with multiple copies of each book purchased by the fans. The prints were also a success.

3/ The biggest surprise was how much everyone wanted their signed Sonic 35th Anniversary print. A surprise in that the event’s primary audience were gamers, and even they couldn’t resist checking out the books and prints on my table.

I’m currently getting set up at the Emerald Rush Market AKA Netherworld Collectibles, located at 25 N Federal Hwy, Dania Beach, FL. Hours open are from 11am to 6pm. Come have a good time.

Getting ready to head out to the Emerald Rush Market later this morning. Among the items I’ve brought in limited supply is the Fallen Scourge print, which I sell for $25. Most of my prints sell for that price.

In answer to people’s queries, I’m selling books & prints. Book prices are as follows: LARA-SU CHRONICLES: BEGINNINGS - $35 KEN PENDERS’ KNUCKLES OMNIBUS VOL 1 - $100 SCOTT SHAW!’S SONIC DAYS - $50 THE SHADOW FILES - $75 EVENT SPECIAL All 4 for $200! Limited number of copies available for sale!

I thought people might be interested to learn the first 100 people to show up at my table at the Emerald Rush Market will receive a FREE AUTOGRAPHED SONIC 35th ANNIVERSARY PRINT SIGNED BY ME. Also, signatures are free with the purchase of a book or print from me, $10 if they bring their own item.

Among the prints I'll be bringing to the Emerald Rush Market for sale are the following: BRAVE NEW WORLD (Last 2! Once they're gone, no more ever!) SONIC SatAM DVD COVER ART SHADOW FILES COVER ART SHADOW (from SONIC issue 145)

Forget #RaiderNation Even the Las Vegas media admit #BillsMafia takes a back seat to no one when it comes to supporting their team in the opposing team’s stadium on the road. It’s an amazing sight.

Our group is among the multitude of Bills (& Raiders) fans watching the various NFL games in play at the Mandalay Bay as we get ready to head over to Allegiant Stadium for the big game. Go Bills!

Another item crossed off the bucket list. Finally got to meet & shake hands with the Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame Legend who played in all 4 Super Bowls the Bills made it to, Thurman Thomas.

Bills fans - and I include myself among them - are lining up for a meet & greet with Bills Legend Thurman Thomas along with a signed photo. The man was in 4 Super Bowls and I rooted for him and the team during all 4. No other team could ever 3-peat.

We moved the party over from the CATEGORY 10 bar at the Flamingo over to the Bills Mafia meet-up at THE GLASS BAR inside the Planet Hollywood Casino. With so many Bills fans on the scene, it was only inevitable that MR BRIGHTSIDE would end up on the playlist.

When someone describes a theatrical experience as immersive, unless they’re talking about THE WIZARD OF OZ showing at the Sphere in Las Vegas, they haven’t a clue what immersive is. I’ve never felt I was actually a part of the movie until I experienced this.

I’m with the In-laws at the Bills Tailgate Party happening at Tom’s Watch Bar. Plenty to drink and eat with Bills Mafia out in full force. We’ll head over to SoFi Stadium prior to game time to catch all the action live. Go Bills!!!

For those of you on the east coast, this will be my one appearance for this year. I'll be in Fort Lauderdale FL on Sunday October 25 at this event with further details to come. I'll have books, prints and original art with me for sale.

Never let it be said I am a fair weather fan. My team lost today and my heart bleeds with them. There's always next week. That one I plan on attending in person as it's here in Los Angeles.

I find it amazing critics of Alejandro G. Iñárritu's DIGGER haven't remarked the film is essentially a remake of Wes Anderson's ASTEROID CITY. Considering AC made only $56M upon release, whoever greenlit this film with a $180M budget were irresponsible fools.

I had a great birthday. I spent it with close friends who accompanied me to see AVENGERS ENDGAME ENCORE , then we all went back to the home Bernie & I share, where she had a shrimp scampi dinner & chocolate granache cake waiting for us, along with gifts & birthday wishes. I really have a good life.

I haven't been doing much drawing lately because I've been dealing with real life thanks to a young driver slamming into my SUV on my right side from the rear. My car has been declared a total loss and am now scrambling to replace it. Fortunately, no one in either car was hurt.

I've had this design in my head since Comic-Con. I plan on inking a section of this piece so I can experiment with color paints, inks & dyes, seeing what works best on the cover stock so I can finally wrap up work on another commission piece. FYI, I don't do commissions paying less than $500.

I'm indeed working on THE LARA-SU CHRONICLES: SHATTERED TOMORROWS. Here's a sneak peak at what comes next. I took out "To Be Continued..." and Pg 17 and replaced it with a balloon that was in Panel 1 of this page, which opens with the response now.

I also retired the name Brotherhood of the Guardians and replaced it with the more gender-neutral title VIRIDIAN STARCORE ALLIANCE, which also hints at their main duty of keeping the Powercore in check.

1/ I bought this issue when it first hit the newsstands. It features Elliot S! Maggin's 1st DC story he sold on spec. Denny O'Neil, who co-created John Stewart with artist Neal Adams, was my editor when I penciled CAPTAIN ATOM issue 41 during the XMas holidays of 1989-90.

5/ Elliot's story WHAT CAN ONE MAN DO? would form the basis for a season's worth of ARROW stories during that show's run. So there you have it: an historic issue on all counts. I've had personal involvement with all parties, including editor Julius Schwartz, and

6/ a group of us who played a part in the comics and animation industries gather every week for each other's company, discussion, stories of old times, and the latest episodes of genre TV we all enjoy. Life really doesn't get much better than this.

3/ what Denny and Neal would think of this adaptation of John Stewart, as each of us, especially Elliot, hears Denny's voice in John Stewart's story. Elliot recalls how editor Julius Schwartz cut the page count of Denny's story so he could include Elliot's Green Arrow story,

4/ which artist Neal Adams made clear he wanted to draw Elliot's story. To place this event in the proper context, scripts by new writers are never drawn by the company's top talent, and established writers are never asked to cut the page count of their story for the new guy.

2/ It's now 55 years later since that issue was on sale, and my BFFs Elliot, Larry, Serge & Pam gather for eats and television generally every Tuesday at my place, courtesy of Bernie, and one of the show's were watching is LANTERNS. What's amazing is all of us are wondering

Comic-Con just about wiped out my stock of SONIC ARCHIVES. All I left available for sale on my website are: Vol 11 - 4 copies Vol 12 - 4 copies Vol 15 - 2 copies Vol 16 - 1 copy After that, everyone will have to check EBay and elsewhere.

RIP Will Murray. Will & I reconnected after not seeing each other for almost 40 years. I bought a couple of his books during the con we met up at and now I’m sorry I won’t get to enjoy the new works he was planning. His DOC SAVAGE novels are a cherished part of my collection.

I've been invited to take part in a documentary about the SatAM series and 90's Sonic fandom during the last weekend of this coming October. I'm being flown to the FT Lauderdale area and will be participating in a store event. Details are currently being worked out. Stay tuned.

Does any rational thinking human believe Google Founder Sergey Brin is going to even notice the $13 billion rounding error paid to the state of CA should the wealth tax win at the ballot box? It’s not like he doesn’t already live in rarefied air. www.yahoo.com/news/politic...

I’ve noticed an interesting pattern emerging since Comic-Con. I’m receiving more international orders through Ebay for the Mobian Adventure Series and I think I know why. eBay can track every order up to delivery. Shipping would cost way too much if I offered it.
