Hi new followers! My feed is a jumble of queer / trans activism, AuDHD streams of thought, focus on my special interest in plurality/ neurodivergence/ cptsd & supporting non pathology of mental health through boosting lived experience perspectives. All sprinkled w/ a confetti of animal photos.

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Sainted Joan Baez last weekend at Soiled Dove, a circus show. She's been honored for decades of activism and reducing stigma on Dissociative Identity Disorder. Jaime Marich assisted (who is also a saint) in presenting the honor! I am in the wheelchair.

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are bestowing Sainthood on Joan Baez this Friday when she performs at The Soiled Dove. She's earned it through her activitism, her art, & her bravery being out about her dissociative identity disorder. If you'd like to come, Show is 9pm in Alameda, CA

I see so many therapists in dissociative treatment doing this until they get published. And then I find out that I actually know more than them about the work as I have gotten to know them.

My next book has a whole section on the psychology behind "People becoming successful by simply lying about already being successful then charging other people to learn their 'secrets' about how to become successful". This would make a perfect case study, but I doubt the legal team will go with it.

How soon do you think it's going to be before Dr Elizabeth Loftus gets dragged in to defend the Cornell 7. It's gotta be any day now. I mean, at the very least she's going to make an appearance at the trial.

I'm writing the intro chapter for a book on working with DID & Autism together since I've completed the rough of the middle chapters. It's clear I'm scared to write this book because no one has written this before. It's an emerging area. I don't want to fuck it up.

They didn't tell folx 9/11 was as toxic as it was. They didn't tell people they did a syphilis research project. They didn't tell folx the person who committed suicide via lsd was murdered by the gov. They'll say folx who testified they were part of mkultra are lying while the gov admits it's true.

My cat, Cheddar, is female. She's successfully fixed & the vet said so. But I've always wondered if she's intersexed because she has really tiny balls and a small cheerio. Girl cats don't have that. Since most orange cats are male, I don't think it's wild she may have high testosterone.

#westoakland #Oakland I rescued this bag after it fell off the top of a driving car on Adeline near 30th. It unfortunately was hit by another car. The insides are undamaged. There's no ID info inside. Tell me the contents and I'll get it to you. I think it belongs to a tween.

That is a good question. RTEC is the trade name (DBA) for Ross Tree Expert Company. According to this particular article, the Interior Department awarded the $349,000 contract to Ross Tree Expert Company. www.axios.com/local/washin...

axios.comTree removals at East Potomac golf course raise alarmsThe Interior Department says the tree work is "routine maintenance." But park advocates are on high alert.

I move into my own office today. I'm still working on setting it up, but here's the building. It's an historic Victorian with a large garden. But it's still wheel chair accessible.

Just hearing about Dolly Parton. Her saint name with The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is: Saint Authenticity the Utmost, Exemplary Artist, Humble Humanitarian, and Patron Saint of Relentless Glamor!

There's a whole thing going around in astrology about how people really shouldn't fuck with cancers right now for the next few weeks. I am not an astrology person. But my mom was. I'm a cancer sun, cancer moon and a libra rising. Proceed with caution.

So I was asked by a prominent person in Sensorimotor to assist a guy with his autism work. It was a little awkward because he privately admitted to me he didn't believe in the neurodiversity paradigm and it might ruin his ability to do academic publishing. I helped him anyway. I now wish I hadn't

He already knows I have material he stated to me about neurodiversity affirmative work. That he admitted he doesn't believe in it. That he's faking it. That he doesn't want to get found out as it might impact his work in the autism field. I don't take kindly to people I help who step on me.

He already was initially condescending when I was upset about how he talked to me about neurodiversity affirmative work and said no one would take me seriously. I recently sent him the book I'm in that's available for pre order and he started mansplaining that DID is related to seizure disorder

I explained that this is not supported by research, he's not an expert in the feild and this isn't even in his wheelhouse & that this is a false memory foundation talking point. He accused me of looking for something to fight about. I bcc'd the conversation to the head of Sensorimotor.... because

The basic color scheme for the new office is grey and grayish blue. Someone left behind a fancy brown leather couch I was told I could have. So, I guess I'm leaning on seafoam green as the other major color. If it looks too hospital or nursery I'll figure our brighter colors in there.

I'm so ecstatic about this office. If I bought my own tiny home in 1995 I'd still be paying more in monthly rent than a mortgage. I'm trying to get my previous supervisor to rent the space next to me that's even more enormous and amazing and it's under 500/ month

I... think I'm getting my own office for the first time in my practice. It's through this very little known city initiative. So it's actually going to be cheaper than what I spend subletting office space two days a week. There is a full friggen park in this space w/ a fountain & several gardens

Like, this office is wheelchair accessible *and* is part of an historic preservation society. It's victorian with all the little details maintained by the city. It has crap tons of parking. But it is also public transport accessible. I also have a huge closet.

Ok. Tea sandwiches are good. But you must know they come from their messy relative and we're scaled down so folks wouldn't muss themselves. Creamed cheese with fresh scallions, salt, pepper, and chopped herbs plus thin ripe tomato slice with spicy arugula is a perfect sandwich

I have just had the very strange experience of encountering someone who knows who I am and thought I was impersonating myself. I had to give up trying to tell them it was actually me and just had to laugh

I just got indian food from a secret basement location in a Ramada in old Oakland. I honestly have no idea what i got. There's nothing on the menu that's familiar to me. But it was all very good. The main star is this flatbread called dosa that's stuffed and has tons of sauces. It was wildly cheap

I've messed around with lots of different lettuce growing in the past two years. If you want to grow your own & you suck at plants, hands down grow arugula. It's dandelion level easy. It will regrow after. Chard is the second easiest and collards are a hard recommend. The others are more finicky.
