Today is National Black Cat Day 🐈‍⬛ , which raises awareness about how hard it is for black cats to get adopted from shelters & dispels the superstitions that still surround them. 🐈‍⬛ In their honor, I give you some black cats in ancient art & archaeological sites. www.americanhumane.org/public-educa...

oh i just learned it's international black cat day so here's a zine i made about my beloved cat who passed last year, Encyclopedia Frown

I made an experimental omelette today that was a cross between a Spanish omelette and The Bear omelette.

i know it's the age of immediacy and frictionless and what-have-you but *everything* takes longer to complete now than it did even two or three years ago. it's stunning.

A lot of people need to slow down and acknowledge to themselves that they're afraid, and this is affecting how they are interacting with other people. You have to acknowledge the reality of your feelings, or you won't control how they shape your behavior.

I will NEVER let the narrative stand that motherhood means an easier time in the carceral system. Not when adoption agencies collaborate with prisons to steal the babies of the 60,000 pregnant women we incarcerate in the US every year Elizabeth Holmes is NOT the standard.

Right!? I sure as hell can, and I do!

“Because of my rage, I can’t date women my age.”

I'm becoming such a softie in my dotage because I dig the Kenny Ortega musical vibes of this song

Congratulations to Xiaojun on his solo debut! This album will make your case of the Mondays disappear! #xiaojun #샤오쥔 #肖俊 #nct #wayv youtu.be/JvzbFG4-5W4

When I say I love Cheesecake Factory, I mean this cat who was found malnourished and wandering through a Bay Area mall parking lot. Cheesecake Factory has since been rescued and nursed back to health. He's now healthy, vaxxed, & sweet, but still needs a loving home www.petfinder.com/cat/cheeseca...

Beyond disgusted by even more rape allegations against the President of the United States. "In total, more than 25 different women...have independently accused Donald Trump of rape, sexual assault, or other sexual misconduct." Report w/ new details: democrats-judiciary.house.gov/sites/evo-su...

I need to stress to people that meetings and work are not the same thing!! Sometimes work occurs and that that work is NOT A MEETING. Just because I don't have meetings for the rest of the day does not mean I don't have work!! for the love of god!!

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Elizabeth Holmes is not the face of motherhood for incarcerated women. Jazmin Valentine wailed in agony for 6 hours in labor while staff and nurses LAUGHED at her. She had to resort to sliding her amniotic sac under her cell door to prove she was in labor.

Im in absolute shock right now. This man was THEEE modern voice of the Looney Tunes Look at the voice cast for Coyote vs Acme and he basically voices all the main male toons in that film. I'm so glad he got to see it be released... Rest in Peace

I am SO tired of the texts

I know we have a lot going on but I’m going to need the Internet to learn the difference between macaroons and macarons.

Lmaoo I remember this article and yes

Brussels sprouts taste better!

El-Sayed: "We had a little debate. Or I had a debate and he just pointed at me and said, 'He's Muslim.'"

hi i added some zines to the tamper room zine library! thx @longarmstapler.bsky.social for curating this!!

We acknowledge that no one has the bandwidth for this, but if it helps: -It’s ‘sleight of hand’ -It’s ‘bated breath’ -It’s ‘lo and behold’ -It's 'buck naked' -It’s ‘brass tacks’ -It’s ‘free rein’ -It’s ‘toe the line'

Gonna see You Can See Everything today
