Yesterday, Wizards informed us that it doesnโ€™t intend to voluntarily recognize the D&D or Studio X units of our union ahead of a vote. We remain committed to creating a workplace focused on wellness, transparency, and collaboration by winning our coming election.

We are unionizing!!! Please show your support by signing our petition ๐Ÿ’œโš”๏ธ๐ŸŽฒ

Do yourself a favour this weekend: grab a nice beverage, choose a video game to play, and close social media, right now. Do not visit Twitter, or Bluesky, or any social app again this weekend. There's no joy to be had here. Go play a game and chill instead. Do it now.

And I think that's enough games for now. I could talk about why I love these games for a long time, and I might do that! I've got a write up on UX in detective games rattling around in my head, this might inspire me to work on that. If you have any other recommendations, send them my way!!

5 - Ghost Trick This one might feel out of left field, but if anyone has ever tried to tell you how great this old game is, they're right. Just rock solid game design through the whole experience. And the story legitimately surprised me with how much I got into it. <3 missile the dog

Number 1 - I have to start with Her Story by @mrsambarlow.bsky.social Absolutely one of the best detective games. Its core game mechanic is very clever, it seems simple at first then very quickly you'll start to see just how deep it goes. I'm forever chasing the high of this game!

2 - Case of the Golden Idol A very different type of whodunnit. The game gives you all the info you need in unexpected ways, and relies on you to make logical conclusions in a way that some other detective games don't. The DLC is almost even better then the base game, especially Lumerian Vampire.
