Yikes, Greasy-Gooney is unexpectedly popular this year! I'm guessing we'll sell out within the next week. I *may* allow close personal friends and/or people with a lot of previous G-G finishes to weasel their way in after we're sold out, but I'd much rather you sign up now. 🤣

Had a hitchhiker riding with me this morning! It REALLY wanted to stay there on my windshield wiper. Started getting worried about the poor thing as I was getting up to highway speed, so I wound up pulling over and encouraging it to fly off to safety.

Officially finished running all the roads within the town limits of Berryville, Virginia! Not too difficult; only took 4 runs, 71.2 miles total including some overlap. Saw & learned a lot! Completed Boyce, Marshall, and Maurertown last year... Not sure what's next. I do NOT want to do Winchester! 😬

For the love of all that's holy, can we STOP making charging indicators that are color-dependent? Arrgghhh! I have NO idea if this is amber (charging) or green (charged). I HAVE A DISABILITY!!!

First time in 12 years running the SVR's Heart & Soles 5K! And I've gotten a little slower. That 17:04 at age 39 is roughly equivalent to an 18:43 finish at 51, so it's apparent how much vocal cord dysfunction is killing my performance now. Wonder if I can have my vocal cords surgically removed... 🤣

This is pretty cool... The snowmelt has revealed footprint fossils! 👣 These are from when I headed out to run on the snowy AM of 25 Jan.... Sleet subsequently fell & froze on top of my footprints, & these hardened areas are now melting more slowly than the surrounding snow & ice. Science! 🤓

My god... There's grass under there! 😲

Cuddles was NOT happy about visiting the vet-- nor about office cat Dan claiming my lap in the waiting area! 🤣 I, on the other hand, was honored that Dan chose me.
