And that's a true 100% completion of all three leisure sports in Switch Sports Resort. Totals: - 735 Spocco Photos - 30 Hibiscus Flowers - 940 Balloons - 18 Big Balloons - 20 Coin Courses - 15 Slalom Courses - 15 Dolphins

Also whilst I was at it, I completed the Island Crown + Legend Match for Golf (still need to do Gauntlet), and I'm so sorry Haneul, you never stood a chance

Redemption, pt. 2

I continue to be seriously unclutch, missing out on the "Nine Under" achievement in the last 2/3 strokes of a 18 hole match. I massively under-hit a shot, which ended up going straight into the water At the very least, I hit my new best Resort nine hole score during this 18 hole round

I somehow shot my best ever Resort 9 during this, and tied by my best Classic 9. Here's a few highlights from this miracle round I had:

I may or may not have fucked up everything after this, capping it off with a +4 on the final hole. Went from -5 to +1 by the end.

also I knew the game tracks day/evening/night photos separately, but I did not know that it actually displays whether you've gotten them all for a certain time of day on the stats page (see the daytime symbol for power cruising) Guess my work isn't done just yet lmao

Dear lord this was so much harder than I was expecting (and she practically gave me the match point lmao)

also this attempt was sorta crazy because I was leading 4-0 at one point. Genuinely found just beating her here harder than beating her 6-0 in the original resort. I ended up needing *5 match points* to close it out (tbf I missed 3 of them due to swings not registering which was only very annoying)

took a break (aka slept for 13 hours somehow), beat the gauntlet mode on my first try. Not sure if I'd call Yoshi harder than Lucia, the challenge was moreso finding a new strategy that worked (also with that, I have 100% completed Table Tennis, all achievements and extra challenges complete)

Didn't expect to drop off the face of the earth for a month and a half, but I suppose old habits die hard lmao

haven't taken a break from drawing (let alone posting) this long since 2020 I'm pretty sure. Can't lie though, it has been nice to take an extended break from everything online, so I don't think I'll be posting as much as I used to

yeah I don't think I'm gonna have an artwork done in time for this month, rip to the 7-month streak I've been completely dead for a couple days now, and instead of working on it, I have been rotting. yipee

maybe I'll get it done for early September, but who knows? Its been a while since I've been unable to put pen to tablet at all, so I pray this just passes quickly

Y'know, today really hasn't been my day and I was trying to figure out why. Then I remembered I was up at 8am and barely slept, so maybe that had something to do with it lmao

At least I might be able to fix my sleep schedule with an early night, that'd be one good thing today

revisiting this idea again since I like it, but just can't quite fully realise it

I feel like I'm getting to the point where I need to do a fresh Windows installation again, but perhaps it'd be better to try something new and hopefully better?

Currently giving it a go, but I've already ran into a few unexpected programs that just don't want to work despite spending hours on it, and I really don't think I have the patience tonight. Thankfully I'm dual booting right now, so I can come back to it when I have just a bit more patience

Update: wasn't feeling tired, so instead of going to bed, I chose to be a dumbass. I decided to start over and reinstall everything, and give into the temptation of diving head first into hyprland, and this is already a lot more fun (although ente auth still refuses to cooperate)

God I am so sick of playing smash on joycons, those tic-tac buttons weren't built for this shit

My choice of controllers is either joycons or pro-con with horrendous snapback I am so close to splurging and getting a new controller

And I have finally arrived at the End's second ring (524,288m)

Karari@karari.art

I made it to the End's first void gap (370,720m)

Figured it'd be a waste to come out all this way and not leave my mark, so I tried to build a little tent (I'm not much a builder, so this is about as much as I could handle) I haven't left yet, as I can't really afford to forget anything. It's not like I'll be returning here anytime soon

I think once I get my new pc case, I'll finally take the plunge into using Linux. To my knowledge, everything I do/use is supported or has well documented ways of getting working. Even if it doesn't work out, I can just do that fresh installation of Windows I needed anyway, after all

All that's left is to cross that gap and arrive at the start of the second ring, 154km out from where I am now, and 524km out from where I started That's only a little under 1.5 hours of more flight, really not bad actually. Plus, there's nothing that can kill be besides the void now!

just noticed two lines of not-generated chunks in the screenshot, chunky (what I used to generate a 256 chunk radius circle) seems to leave a 1 chunk border between what it generates, and what I generated. Kinda neat since you can see the path I flew to get here

and so it begins... 424km remain

Karari@karari.art

My dumbass just thought about the possibility of visiting the first end ring before the end rings get removed from the game in 26.3 The first one is 524km away, with a 154km void gap that has to be crossed...

Half way there (262km), I think that'll make a good stopping point today 108km to the void gap 262km to the second ring

oh also I am actually drawing stuff here and there now, gotta keep up my one rendered artwork a month goal after all. It'd be a shame if I missed a month after actually keeping it up for 7 already

its really not hard, I'm basically AFKing in 5-15 minute intervals. Could AFK even longer if I decide to fly higher (hard limit being about 28 minutes, since thats when your elytra breaks with Unbreaking III) I''ll probs break this up over a few days, just for my sanity lol

Also I think I wildly overestimated the rockets needed. Crossing the void gap will be easy, you do not need flight duration 3 rockets at all. I've stopped at the 131km for now, having used just 2 and a bit stacks of flight duration 1 rockets. I think I could spam them and still make it lmao

After 13 days, it has finally been complete. I have visited all 128 strongholds in my survival world. Yes that does mean I did 28 of them today

Now for some stats: My world had an above average number of 1, 2, and 6-eye portals, and much fewer 0-eye portals than expected. As for the total number of eyes, rings 1/3/4 were well below average, but rings 2/6 were very far above average. In total, my world had more eyes than ~80% of worlds.

side note, having learned as much about strongholds as I have doing this, I genuinely think I could've done this without a seed map (I just think it would've taken a full month instead of 2 weeks) Like it really doesn't seem too bad, you just need blaze/pearl farms, some math, and some patience

After 13 days, it has finally been complete. I have visited all 128 strongholds in my survival world. Yes that does mean I did 28 of them today

Some highlights of today were: - Finding the second and final 4-eye portal (#104) - A library spontaneously combusting upon my arrival (#118) - The tiniest stronghold in my entire world (#124)

Y'know, I love playing Smash, but it's wild how you can go from playing near flawlessly one day, to making constant misinputs the next

Also it's the only game that can actually make me tilted, which probably isn't that surprising

I am so incredibly close to done. 100 strongholds visited, 100 portals found. 25 visited today alone, dear god.

Some highlights include: - #86 having a zombie dungeon next to the portal room - #95 being ocean exposed and me actually finding it before digging down - #100 being the first 4-eye (second most eyes found)

Oh also I wanna share the funky ass terrain around stronghold #82. The weird blobby terrain with birch trees contains a trail ruins

Ring 6 is definitely not disappointing so far: - Five 3-eye portals found - 29 eyes total across just 17 strongholds (97th percentile) - Several very high up portals, including ocean/surface cave exposed - Portal room that overlaps an ancient city?!
