Hi, Bluesky! I'm Kyla, a freelance costume designer and sewist! I make custom kigurumi, dresses, rompers, long furbys, plushies - basically all things fuzzy, soft and cute. Everything is made from scratch out of my home studio in Pittsburgh, PA. 💕 Here's some examples of my work!

MY FURBY CHILDREN ARE BEING BORN!!! They must now have their spines added, and then stuffed! Lots of customized long furb adoptables coming to Anthrocon this year! I've got limited supply, and each are one of a kind. They come with adoption papers, they're poseable, and they're guaranteed cursed.

Working on an updated Bulbasaur design, and it's turning out SO CUTE! This will be available as a hooded dress, or as a romper upon request. It comes with long sleeves with claws, gigantic pockets, and a detachable bulb on the back.

It's a bit surreal to have just had such a lovely, safe experience in DC all weekend long to come home and see that Trump is deploying the military to violently arrest people. We were walking around til 3am, chatting with people, taking the metro, and never ONCE felt unsafe.

We also stayed a few extra days in DC to get some kbbq, check out the Metro bar, play some hotel lobby mahjong, and of course, drunkenly flip off the White House. I love my friends :)

Traveled to DC to see @starjunk95 this past weekend, and the show was such a blast! 😍 The crowd was so silly and kind, and we danced til 2am. I made little Jetta hair accessories for myself and friends. 💕🌌 It was a magical weekend.
